Thanks.
The procedure didn't hurt at the time really, but now I am in pain. They had to really jam the needle in Apparently it was difficult to get at And I am terrified. I knew the woman who did the follow-up imaging and when she came to talk to me she was tearing up. This was after she checked with the radiologist and all I can think of is that she knew something looked bad.... I am so scared.

I didn't because my mom was sitting right there. She just told me all the things I was supposed to be doing - like not showering until Friday. Would have liked to know that one beforehand.

Maybe I am just being overly sensitive. I think I might call t and just leave her a message. She told me I could do that. I probably have to wait until Friday for the results.

They told me 24-48 hours. The waiting is horrible. I am so scared.

One of my best friends sent me a box of tea. I am going to call her and thank her to keep my mind off this stuff. And call t.

I jumped on my group blog and there was some activity. The guy I was having an issue with last night was told by pretty much everyone in the room except me how wonderfully he communicated on the blog...and that he didn't step on toes, encouraged dialogue, etc. between him and this other person (who was not in attendance last night).

I was the only one that disagreed....and I explained what I felt was going on - a very, very drastic difference....I said that it seemed as though he pushed and pushed without taking in any of the feedback - until the other person conceded, like he wouldn't let go until he was proven right and her wrong.

No one else saw it that way.

Well, today, on the blog, he posted little snippets of love and joy to each person at group - except me - all proud of himself for his success and the validation....and then posted to that one person that didn't attend, saying that I said XYZ and was that what she felt happened?

The person responded, agreeing with my observation.

So, last night, I felt like a total outcast because I wasn't blowing smoke up his azz like the rest of them - and said it how I experienced it - and it was accurate.

As much as it feels awful, I'm glad that I didn't go along with the rest of the group, that I stayed true to myself and expressed my different experience in spite of knowing that the others disagreed.....And I'm also glad that what I experienced had value (because it was accurate) cuz I'd imagine everyone was thinking I'm a total azzhole.
This is awesome. This is why YOU are the comedian, because you can see and speak the truth. It's times like this you feel your tie back thru history with the court jester whose job it was to tell the king the truth.

I will also come to Colorado. Can I be the official veggie gardener? I can supply the couch nutritionists with a bounty of veggies and fruits.

My t is awesome. I left her a message and she called back to check in on me and make sure I had some plan for coping with the waiting.

((sconnie)) The radiologist really can't tell just by the imaging. Honest. They have to do the biopsy in the lab. So it may have been allergies, or maybe she knew you'd be in pain. But she doesn't know. OK?

I'm in for Colorado. I will be the security...food security. I'll make sure no cool whip gets in. ha ha ha ha.

When H wheeled me down the hall to leave the hospital a bunch of doc's and nurses were standing there waiting, and they clapped for me. Isn't that wild? Made me cry.

Here's something positive I learned via pinterest today.
You can make ice packs in ziploc baggies. Mix 1 part rubbing alcohol with 3 parts water and freeze. It never gets solid because of the alcohol. I made some in snack size baggies for today and they work well. I would double bag them just in case it springs a leak.

Sorry for the obscure link. I can't find a better one.
This story deserves to be much better known.

Thanks, hankster!

Seems like I'll be a lonely comedian, though....the result of my honesty seems to be rejection. I guess nobody likes the court jester very much.
