Ok, your gonna need a game plan now... Perhaps the knife caused you to say that... Like if you had been golfing at the time, it would have been bludgeon to death.

I want to quadruple hug the SD now, because I feel moved.

I could have sworn I joined a well established couch. And I do remember MKAC heroically saving the seizing woman. And soon after Hankster saved a drowning man. Wow...heroes from the get go. And me wanting to quit t, which I didn't do until August. Listen to me whine about him for months...sheesh. What a freakshow I am.

Here's a true story...
A guy I was dating was in the service, came home on leave, went to my parents' house but I wasn't at home

so he went to the Janis Joplin concert that was going on that night (I wasn't there either)

He looked and looked for me - and not finding me anwhere, ....... he left.

Now that's true love!! So eventually I married the guy.

I had a Great Aunt Pearl, she collected ceramics and married a man who she discovered was a cross dresser. So she divorced him shortly after the marriage and lived alone all her life, well into her 90's.

what stories people have. One woman I used to work with said her GF died and when they went to sort out his things, they found a suitcase in the bottom of the closet with.... a.... a.... white robe and a hood... yikes.... !!

lola - My DH had a Great Aunt Pearl too, who lived to be about 100 and was a lovely feisty lady right to the end. She was terrific.

Ok...I've got a story too...

Woman, on bus going to nun class at the nunnery where she will take her vows in one month, meets tall dark handsome naval dude in uniform. They marry and have seven kids, which he beats and she neglects (among other things). She should have stayed on the bus, but then I wouldn't have been born.

SD on Couch 1:

I don't have trouble with hotels. I am not big on traveling in general but not because of the need for disinfectant. But the couch seems to go from being a sick room to a brothel. And that requires lysol.

oh my, good times.

Right - Elin was playing golf when she went after Tiger at 10:30 at night... lawyers love precedence, right? (Just tryin to help!)

I'm glad granite sent Lola on that chase. It's been bumping on my mind over and over that we owe Lola for the couch. She really doesn't get enough credit for it. Especially for all the fighting she (and we) had to do to get it. So I'm glad the anniversary didn't pass yet.

And not that I want to argue about it, but I liked having Janis on board. But I'm a little bummed to hear that she was gone before Lola even got here. How ancient am I??!! That's worth an ack or two!

Hey, I fell on the bus today. It was so weird. I had just put my phone away, I think maybe we turned a corner? I was listening to the little kids in the back of the bus making noise, they were so musical. So there were 2 big butted girls in our seat, next thing I know I just slide out and I'm on the floor!! 3 or 4 people helped me up, everybody was very nice, the bus rider asked me twice if I was okay. I didn't hurt myself. It was just startling. I was well padded what with my long underwear and long winter coat. I can't believe how sweet people were.

Hey man, we've all done it. Completely understand.

The one I quit on always let me come back as well.

In the end, though, it was always a combination of I, like you, needed someone to acknowledge how hard this was and being scared out of my mind.

I wish you well on this journey my friend. We'll be here.
Thanks! You are all being so kind.

I got a story...

My Grandmother was an Irish Protestant and my Grandfather was Irish Catholic... to my surprise the catholic family was more accepting than the protestant one but not the catholic church (GF was excommunicated)...they had to elope because of the families...anyway fast forward 60 years later after they had passed away my mom found their marriage license...it was from the state of California and not NJ like they always told my mom...

guess back in the day it wasn't proper for them to travel together unmarried... imagine lying to your kid for years over something like that...

There seems to be a consensus that I think power is more important than healing.

No, I'm not happy now I've won. But I'm less unhappy than if I had lost.

Ugh... The amount of weight that I have gained since fall is disgusting. I am truly disgusted with myself!
