We might get a real snow storm here on Wednesday. Finally.

I don't need no stinking sunshine.

Bright sunshine, birds chirping and I can smell the salt in the air. It's days like this that I remember why I live here. I have a spare room SD...but you'll have to bring your own linens as mine are all packed up. And there may be a family of some sorts moving in while your visiting. Pay them no mind, they're going to have to work around me as well.

(I may need a lawyer when they try to toss me out anyways)

This is funny: Last week my mother was freaked about this guy saying something kind of inappropriate to her. THIS week she runs up to him, wraps her arms around him, and kisses him on the cheek. I mean, wtf? She may as well have humped his leg.

And she was saying how she was going to go to a private picnic thing for XBIL (who died) when his wife clearly doesn't want anything to do with us. Why? because XBIL's mother will be there, and she wants to see her. It's been thought that she and XBIL's mother had an intimate relationship before sister met and married him. XBIL's mother was my mother's T, and she's the one who finally got my mom to divorce my dad after years of continuing abuse.

Oh what a freaking tangled web of a childhood....
wow.

I know...right? After writing it I was like...OMG, I am going to be in therapy forever.

Mom and her "t" used to be inseparable. They went away on weekends, she was always at the house. Not that I care either way, it's just another layer.

It would make sense that 30 yrs later my mother hasn't even dated once. She was part of this "gay ministry" where they would try to pray the gays straight for a few years though. UGH. That was humiliating for me. My brother is gay, imagine how he felt. Then the head pastor of that "ministry" shot himself in the head after cheating on his wife with one of the young male converts. The "ministry" went belly up and shut down (thank God).

I really can write a book.

The whole Idea that one can "pray away the gay" is unbelievable. You know they do say the ones that protest the loudest are really trying to hide from themselves. LOL My mother has been married 6 times...., but I can't because we have to protect the sanctity.... My A s s

Close reading skills people - not in - out of. Prepositional phrases matter.
And thanks.

I knew you didn't actually have snot in your hand SD. Even as child, that would have been a stretch for you, I imagine.

Well, wouldn't it have had to be IN your hand to be OUT of your hand? How could you burn the snot out of your hand if it wasn't in your hand to begin with.

I never did like stuff on my hands. Clay stuff and fingerpainting were both excruciating experiences in grade school.

Sorry. Bad joke. I have been a little hyper lately. I guess I been bugging people on the couch, being a little too too. Good news is, this is spring break week and I really do want to get some work done around here, so I am going to try to practice some self control. Now THERE'S a bad joke!
