My biggest problem is that my employees want the same lax policies applied to them, and we have to be able to answer the phone(and earphones preclude being able to hear it ring). Someone with authority needs to step up and say, No more earphones. Sadly, I don't see that happening.

Hardly, but this is without a doubt the slackest place I have ever worked.

Not so much by the bun-woman, but everyone else's slackness disturbs me greatly. The company pays them to work, not sing. Geez. Even their supervisor sings in her office, horridly I might add.

Ike - don't know why I find it amusing, but I do. You are a good company citizen.

I am having insane muscle twitching in my arm tonight. It does not hurt, but it is quite annoying.
Thanks for this!

I am singing right now. And I can't sing. Plus I don't even usually sing.
I am succumbing to peer pressure.

ACK! I've had this piercing ringing in my ear and in searching where it was coming from, I landed here...only to realize that the ringing is actually SD's singing! LOL.

I succumbed to taking a muscle relaxer tonight. Hoping it'll help the pain...on a good note, it's making me sleepy which means I just might actually fall asleep!

Goodnight, couch peeps!

oohhh a sing along. I'm in. I love to sing although no one else enjoys it when I break into song. Another perk of being single

Omg - these are totally superego songbook titles! Makes sense. My son, the songwriter! Oy!

I would have labeled them Id.
But I really know very little freudian stuff.

I've read that play plots are man vs man, man vs self etc. I've never thought about the "plots" for songs or even jokes. Thanks for this insight! It's like how you overcome the superego and celebrate the id. That line, "it's great to stay up late" always disturbed me, truthfully. They seemed naughty for saying it, or it seemed too daring for the innocent tone of the song. Now I understand why. My own little superego was being lit up!
Thanks for this!

Probably the last is super ego - "straighten up and fly right, straighten up and do right
cool down papa don't you blow your top...."
Is hard for even me to see as id - unless you are identifying with the buzzard instead of the monkey.

Morning granite....glad you are home in your own space.

I picked up a Cole Porter cd yesterday, has all the greats on it, Martin, Holiday, Armstrong...good cd.

I bought some Neem Oil for my hands and feet, because they are just so rough. It works miracles, but I just can't stand the smell. I mixed it with some of my own lavendar oil, and it's still pretty bad. Last night in bed H said. "honestly wiki, I am so used to concoctions and earthy crunchy smells that nothing bothers me. But THIS, this is a little more than I can handle." So I got up and scrubbed it off. lol. So now I am in search for a pleasant smelling Neem Oil blend.....
