It is definitely possible I've just shut down. To top it all of, one of my brothers tried to committ suicide a couple days ago, totally unrelated to all the drama with my other siblings, but it's been three days of constant phone calls and messaging and trying to settle everyone down. I haven't even been remembering things like eating or sleeping lol. It might hit me later.

Granite, I agree with stopdog...that no matter how kids act or what they do, the lines on what is appropriate treatment or consequences and what is not don't change. I don't want you to take blame that isn't yours just because of what a teacher wrote. You do seem more calm about things, but just remember, nothing justifies abuse.

I'm glad your back, and thanks for asking about my siblings. It's helpful to say something to people who will call what I did brave not mean or hurtful or judgmental or betrayal and on and on.

Wow, I go away last night and just log back in to find the couch "exploded". Just spent time catching up, but there was so much...I am in overload mode right now and don't know what to say.

Mom called today...wants to go out to dinner tomorrow night. Hopefully it will go okay. Sometimes she can get on her soapbox and the fact she doesn't want me on meds and I should let her and my step-dad "heal me" by laying hands on me and praying. I am Christian and believe in prayer, but that is just a little too weird for me. Miracles are not a common occurance in my opinion, no matter how many people in thrid world countries my mom has claimed they heal when they go on their mission trips.

Hopefully, it will just be an ordinary dinner with no religious talk or no talk about my pdoc or T. Yes, I could have said no, but I felt like getting a free meal and she just got back in town after being in California for 5 weeks, trying to "cure" a friend's cancer (it didn't work...he died), so I would like to see her. Plus she has a flat screen TV that she doesn't want anymore to give me (I'll take it and "get rid" of my dinosaur big bulky TV (from the 1990's)...well put it in the bedroom as a spare, since there is no TV in there now).

Wish me luck tomorrow with my mom. Hopefully she won't piss me off. I don't see T until Tuesday and don't think I could handle going that long before talking to someone about it.

Okay, I've rambled enough.

Hope everyone has a good night.

Squirrel - That is a bit creepy about the laying on of hands if you don't want it, in my opinion.

I still have a dinosaur tv. It works.

So has anyone else ever had to put sunscreen on their cats? I'm a bit worried that whatever I apply she will be consuming and so I don't want it to be toxic. Any suggestions?

USe the kind for babies. I had to put it on a very old dog who was shaved for some surgery but who loved lying in the sun. I wanted her to have some quality of life doing something she enjoyed, but I did not want her to get sunburned.
Thanks for this!

Get sunscreen for babies. They're designed to not be toxic.

Murray - do a search - I just ran a quick one and this came up:

"Feline sunscreen protection is trickier Avoid products with Octyl Salicylate, Homosalate and Ethylhexyl Salicylate (common sunscreen ingredients). Products containing Titanium Dioxide as an active ingredient are OK to use on ear tips and noses. This ingredient works by physically blocking the sun's harmful rays, so it is not absorbed (much) by the skin. (This is in contrast to sunblocks that work to chemically block the sun's ray.) The Epi-Pet spokeswoman said that this compound is toxic if ingested, so caution is advised.

Sunscreens contain ingredients that are absorbed through the skin and are regulated by the FDA. All ingredients should be listed on the container. Sun Protection Factor (SPF) has not been rated for animals, and because of this, SPS of animal-specific products should be labeled as "comparable to" their human counterparts, according to FDA requirements."

And from Banfield (here inside of petsmart)- they suggest
"Virbac Pet Guard Gel with Sunscreen (for dogs and cats)"

What about the xbox?
Or Emma?

(now I am just on quest to get you to read it for the sheer pleasure of trying to convince you it is a funny novel)

Or Emma.
Have you at least tried the movie?
Or the other movie "Clueless" - you really might like clueless if you have not seen it.

Clueless was an entertaining movie

I'm trying to focus on getting my paperwork together after lots of drama recently...so obviously I'm on the couch rather than doing my work

Hello everyone. Tomorow is National bring your lacrosse stick to work day. Who's with me? I don't think many people at my office will know what a lax stick is. Which is why I'm taking mine.

An old high school buddy of mine posted a pic on Facebook. Don't like guns, Don't buy one, There that was easy, wasn't it? I'm tempted to write "Don't like homosexual marriage, don't marry someone of the same gender. That was easy, Huh? "

Whadda y'all think? It could possibly stir up the RMNJ's. They always hate it when you point out their inconsistencies.
