Well, just checking in before getting ready for bed. Have to be at my training at 9am tomorrow (it's 30 minutes away), so no sleeping in for me tomorrow.

Found graduation caps (with tassels) online for a decent price, so I ordered 3 for the 3 8th graders to graduate from middle school with. I got the caps in blue and the tassel in blue, gold, and white (school colors). They are one size fits all (elastic in the part that goes on the head), so they should fit the 8th graders. Also found Mylar balloons (graduation) online for 38 cents each (I have a small helium tank at home), so I ordered a few of them for the 8th graders middle school graduation. They don't say "class of" or anything like that (just a mortarboard and rolled up diploma) so, they will work for 8th grade graduation.

Just checked my pay stub for the 30th (they post a few days early) and my bonus the union got for support staff is in this check. Yay for extra money.

18 days of school left, I can make it.

Still need to find a summe job though.

Hope everyone had a good day (I saw some people did) and that everyone has a good night.

Off to take my meds and try to get some sleep.

So... there is a really interesting job opportunity in my area as a Food Justice Coordinator. But if offers no benefits and a smaller salary than I make now. I would have to take on a second job to pay for insurance. Sigh....

It is my understanding that they work with government social programs and non-profit organizations to help ensure people have access to good, healthy food. The organization hiring has done things like make sure people can use my state's equivalent of food stamps at our local farmers markets, helped create community gardens, and work with programs that provide fresh produce to shelters and food pantries.

Hey couch peeps!

Just finished a couple of long, exhausting assignments over the last two days, with no access to the internet. Haven't had a chance to catch up on the couch and need to catch some serious zzz's after skipping nights of sleep. Gotta be up extra early tomorrow to get to my niece's softball opening day, so I'm just popping in to say HI and hope everyone is hanging in there.

Ooops. I think I might have soaked in the tub too long. Or maybe added too much Epsom salt. I am itchy

Morning couch. Just popping in to see what I missed after going to bed last night (I see not much) amd say hi. I have a little time before having to leave for my training (45 minutes), so I am hanging out online. I hope everyone has a fun day. I'll pop back in after I get home.
