Afternoon guys. Wikid, what's the news? Lola, have you heard anything else yet about the job?

We're camping (daughter and me) and it's cold and rainy. We are in the living quarters of the horse trailer so we're dry and we have a little heater going so we're warm enough at least. Her doctor told me to bring her even though she's been out of school sick for a week and a half. However, D says it seems harder to not feel good when surrounded by healthy people doing something you love to do but don't feel well enough to do (horseback riding) so thinking of taking her home. She doesn't want to do that either because she wants to spend time with me (and I promised to be their rules interpreter and they don't have anyone else to do it and the ride cannot be put on without one). So we're hanging out and she is periodically crying. My poor baby.

(Lola) can you give T a call? I worry that you are isolating yourself. There has been so much in your plate and so much change/adjustment recently that it might be good to reach out to T and see if it helps to touch base with him. Given that you don't seem to enjoy staying in hotels I worry that you have chosen to do that after you have found out some distressing news.

MKAC that sounds so difficult. Must be so hard for your daughter as well as for you.

I'm intrigued by all the crafty talk lately. It has been so long since I have done anything even remotely creative. Hopefully once this darn divorce garbage is finally done then I will get my creative mojo back.

MKAC...is there anyway for your D to spend time with a friend (ask a mom to drive one out for the day tomorrow)or another teenagers at the ride (any cute boys around) if you will be busy with the ride tomorrow? Your D must feel pretty isolated being out of school and away from her friends for so long.... its hard for teens to be away from their kind for too long even if they love their mother bunches and bunches...

F me..... dude, I am bottoming out the W needs it to be about her right now, I just wannabe left alone online with my real friends!

Lola... I'm sorry its so rough right now.... if your W was not invoived where would you rather be... home or hotel? the answer to that question is what you should do.

If you want to be home with the dogs and in your own place then you shouldn't let her stop you.... but I could understand how it would feel easier to stay in the hotel
