Hanksta...negative on the biotin. I have heard of it, but not done any research on it. I can look it up in my nutrition bible later though!

Yea granite, you mold the jewelry, and then fire it in a kiln or with a torch. I am using a torch for now. When you heat it up, all the additives come out and your left with pure metal. It's pretty cool.

It's supposed to be good for hair, skin (dermatitis), and metabolism. I have all of those! If your gut flora have been chewed up by antibiotics and you have a fat face. I think the guy yesterday called me fat face or something similar

Have you ever tried felting? I think that's what it's called. My daughter has been doing it...with wool and felting needles you sculpt things. It's amazing.

Are you eating GOOD yogurt? With LIVE cultures? That should keep your flora good. You can add some megadophilus to that, I get the chewable, but you have to make sure your probiotics say "keep refrigerated" on them. If they are just on a store shelf, they aren't live and most likely not going to help much. That won't help your hair though, or your nails.

Oh...and I remember reading something about Biotin overdoses...so look that up as well.

Good morning everyone!

Hankster- thanks for the pages to look at. That squirrel really is cute and the update was fab!

Wiki- LOVE that you are taking care of those baby squirrels. You're a brave one my friend! Why.... that's a WILD ANIMAL!!!! Good job on that! I love that you make jewelry... and love that clay stuff you were talking about. What's it called and where do you find it? I'd love to see what you do with it. Will you post when you're finished?

Granite- what are you gonna craft today? I'm in the middle of doing a quilt that is gonna be nice when it's done. Can't do anything on it today though as I have my first T appointment in 3 weeks and some other people coming over later today.

I also have this piece of furniture to paint. I bought an old library card catalog and had a friend build a piece of furniture around it so I can use it as a book case. The bottom half of it is done, the bookcase part is coming and I need to paint the bottom half before that top half comes. It looks so cool. I can hardly wait until the top is finished, but I need to get to work on the bottom fast!

I'm so glad my life can finally get back to normal (did I just say that?) so I can get things done around here. I've been gone for too long!
Thanks for this!

Yes, I will post pics.
I want to see the bookcase you are creating too. I love re-purposing old furniture.

Baby squirrels are far from wild. When I tackle the bobcats, you will be the first to know. lol

I'm riding with ya wiki...... and I'll post pics of the library card catalog later today. I need to jump in the shower and get ready for my appointment with T. I can hardly wait to see her. Last time we went this long without seeing each other she met me by saying, "I woke up this morning thinking, Yeah! I get to see karebear today!". Such a nice thing to hear!

That's initially why I bought it granite. I need lots of storage for my scrap/sewing stuff. I thought I'd use it in there, but I have no room for it right now. So, I'm having him make a top part for it so I can use it in my library as a bookcase, but can also use it in my dining room as a hutch or my craft room to store almost everything I have! It has 60 drawers for crying out loud! And it looks so nice! If you could find one, I'll bet you hubby could make it into something awesome!

I have these awesome little cubbied pieces that hold little silver boxes in each hole - I wanted something like that only bigger and now I have it! When I clean my craft room up, I'll ahve to take pics and show you how there is no room for my card catalog. Maybe you guys can make some recommendations as to where to put it in here.
