I talk about sending OUR superegos on vacation, O.U.R.!! I tasted it, does that count? And I did have some of the celery soup with the kasha. I only had 2 meals, 2 days in a row, so today I did have a 3rd meal.

Besides, after you cook, you don't feel like eating - do you? That's why I hate thanksgiving etc.

Hankster - take care of yourself. Not eating will not help you become super woman.

You don't get to carry the lasso of truth until you eat three meals a day.
Or was that wonder woman?
Thanks for this!

Thanks. Overeating is really more of an issue for me. I'm trying to figure out what is just enough. I will eat everything on my plate, so I try not to load up my plate. Not eating everything is not an option - superego has a death grip on me there!!

I can hardly wait I went over to my ex house and got my camera out. It was never anything he was interested in so I sort of gave it up. along with my art and music.

I missed truth or dare!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (deliberately misused exclamation points because I am a rebel. LOL.)

Back from my day out with my friend. Had a really good time! We ran some errands that she needed to get done....met her dad and stepmom for lunch....she had a hair appt. that she was willing to cancel, but I told her it was fine - so we were there for a couple hours...then window shopped - got some water ice...and then chilled at her house watching the closing arguments of the Jodi Arias trial.

I shared with my friend my situation with T and the jewelry, etc. Even though she's not in therapy and doesn't really "get" the whole T/client relationship, she had an adverse reaction to T's request as well...she then suggested that I give him a super thin chain - representing a thin body. I cracked up laughing. I then showed her what I REALLY wanted to get him, and it was a ring with the middle finger on it. We both had a good laugh about that.

And since I don't really have the words to share how I'm feeling about it all, I think I AM going to send T some pics of some "suggested" designs, one of which will be the "middle finger" ring. (SD, I know you won't approve. But I am not under the influence of alcohol or cool whip or any of the sort and am doing this of sound mind....can you tell I've been watching that dang trial for half the day?)

Anyway, hope I get to play the next round of truth or dare!

SD, there is totally something to the idea that there's something about this T relationship that has a deeper meaning. Discovering it is the hard part. Being curious about it is a good start.

(( MKAC ))

I am shocked that that T said that to your H! How incredibly shaming! I would have been SO horrified by that. I probably would've shut down entirely. I'm glad you didn't go back.

Lola, I hope you're doing ok being home. I hear ya about it being colder in the house than outside. I used to feel the same way towards the end of my marriage and spent most of my time away from home. I couldn't stand to be there anymore.

Numb is my emotion of preference most of the time. I hate that it's where we need to go to escape, but I understand it completely.
