Many of the things *wished* for, I got : I care about you, I think about you all the time, you're my favorite client, you feel like my soul sister, I want to be your friend, I want to invite you into my family, you are important to me, when you don't email I worry, I would have been honored to be your father - the list goes on. It all felt good at the time, so good that he consumed me. And he did the things he said - and eventually I found out that I'd rather have ethics and boundaries.
My case is not the norm (thank goodness!) but be careful what you wish for.
