Couch 58 A place to sit and......

Mue, before I started with my T, I was going to another T at another practice who had a boss T that sounds a lot like yours. And weather it is or isn't, I have to say that I always found the environment less than comfortable. I only met this boss T once or twice in passing but it used to give me shivers when he walked by. However, so did the T I was seeing! lol. Older guy-Grandfather type. Had a Texas accent. He loved butterflies. Lots of butterflies in his office.

I hear ya. Since my T is the only T I've had for individual therapy, I have no understanding of what might be considered "typical discomfort". But I have found that I am more comfortable with other T's....then again, I'm not "doing therapy" with them.

My T is definitely one that other T's are uncomfortable around. I noticed that a long time ago....just never thought much about it until our last rupture.

Even though I skipped Church, I did join the land of the living in my house and gave my dog a bath, ate dinner with the family. Wasn't feeling up to going grocery shopping, getting dressed is too much. So, H went for me. I HAVE to go into school tomorrow as well as go to mc tomorrow, so hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

MUE, When I as going to that one practice, My T at the time, although he was not the boss T, did not seem to be supportive of other staff. For example, there was a nutritionist employed there and then the T was helping me deal with my then eating issues, I asked him for information about the nutritionist in the office and all he did was bash the costs. " No, Jersey, she will rob you. She charges too much. You'd be better off going elsewhere"

Made it home and paid my first bill out of my own account, Im exhausted! But im a big girl now, officially.

ARGH! Trying to enrol in a subject online. I get throught the whole process, 4 pages, then click confirm enrolment and get a message saying its too late to enrol for this subject online I have to contact the student centre. Blah blah blah.

Jersey....My T wasn't supportive of me reaching out to other T's at his office while he was on vacation for a month but promotes the other types of services that are offered at his facility. Of course, it IS his facility, so I can't imagine him bashing anyone considering he makes part of his living off of them being there.

Hi Granite, I have missed you (((Granite))))

I decided to tell my friend that I wasn't feeling up to hanging out tonight due to this migraine. She said she was tired too, so we'll just plan on getting together for coffee sometime this week.

I'm relieved at the moment that I'm off from work for the night and don't have to be at an assignment until noon tomorrow. With how I'm feeling, this is one of the benefits of this kind of work - I don't have to take on more than I can handle.

Have I told you all that T is moving his practice.. Just down the road, to a bigger newer building. I am not someone who is attatched to T's office or anything. The one thing that I worry about as the time gets closer.. That his office is going to be too medical office feeling and not homey feeling like I am used to. Where his office is located right now, it is a building of professional offices. The new one is in a medical complex with all kinds of doctors offices, urgent cares, radiologist, etc..
