CL... I'm so glad your dr ordered the test just as a precaution.... knowledge is power!

Your work sounds so interesting and rewarding....although some animals make me anxious... birds would be top on that list

We're buying a house. Rental unit heat pump is not big enough to cool the house. In SC, that is a huge problem. D and EXchange Student getting along great so far. She is here til June. Don't ask me, it wasn't my idea, I agreed reluctantly.

Not really, Ready. I don't have enough solitude. But that's just me. And I do have Oliver the Wonder dog, also male. He is smitten with the new girl. Will not leave her alone.

So your ladies spend time with you or just you do their thing with them? Do they make you carry the bags at the mall?

A little of both, I guess. And at the mall, I am camped out in the book stores and make occasional treks to the car.

it finally happened.... I opened my own checking account today too... This has been a very emotional day for me.

Someone asked earlier about my grandma, she is 79 and this is her 3 bout with breast cancer. im gonna stop talking about it as I know its triggering for some.

I always find this interesting... my MOM turned 80 this year... I'm the youngest so my mom was old when she had me... Just funny to me that my MOM is older than your grandmother and we are only 6 years different in age.

Eddie Vedder is a hero in my book. J Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers, eat your heart out. Anybody out there old enough to remember this one. This one brings a tear to my eye.

My mom had me when she was 34. In 1967 she was considered really old to be a mom but I was the youngest of 6 and everyone just assumed we were catholic and didn't believe in birth control... (we are not catholic but it was easier to let people think it than try to explain why my parents would choose to have more kids then they could afford)

Hey BP glad you got one kid in your favors..

I used to tell mine there was will A , will B and will C... A was if I was happier with the oldest and made at the youngest.... B the opposite and C if I was equally ok with both... haha, its fun messing with their heads

I think Last Kiss is a little melodramatic but Eddie's interaction with the girl he dedicates the song to is awesome. He ignores the audience and sings to her for most of the song.

I think Eddie is great. Very passionate and intense. He does a very good cover of Dylan's Masters of War, if you're into that kind of thing.

For Lola. Hope it passes quickly.

Once in Persia reigned a King,
Who upon his signet ring
Graved a maxim true and wise,
Which, if held before his eyes,
Gave him counsel, at a glance,
Fit for every change or chance:
Solemn words, and these are they:
'Even this shall pass away!'
