Good morning, couch peeps!

I woke up a couple hours earlier than I needed to, due to pain. Nothing new. I keep thinking about the assignment I did yesterday at the psych unit and realizing how I did a horrible job of maintaining boundaries. The agency has strict rules and my manager even called me to reinforce those rules prior to my assignment because the staff was giving them grief. The staff there wanted me to be more flexible and to engage with the patient - and that much of his growth has to do with him engaging with other patients there.

I did what I felt was most beneficial for the client...which was totally against my agency's rules.

I suck at boundaries.

Awful quiet in here... makes you wonder, Im off to work. Another day another dollar.

I am sitting waiting for my trial to start. It's a fixed fee so I am pretty ticked that we were told we had 9 am setting and at 9:15 the court is less than 1/4 of the way through the 8:30 cases AND there are three cases set ahead of us on the 9 am docket.

I have not left my house today.. I was supposed to be gone by now. I don't have time to get ready and leave and be back here by the time MIL gets here to watch my kids. So, I guess I will try again tomorrow. I did shower though. I figure if I am going to show up at MC (big if right now) I should at least be showered. I HATE, HATE, HATE late afternoon appointments when I am not working!!

RTS - Good morning! Thanks for mentioning my D. She's having a good time so far. ** POSSIBLE TRIGGER ** My niece, though, doesn't have much common sense. She texted me this morning saying that my D almost "committed suicide by accident"....Umm, NOT what a mom wants to hear EVER but especially when their child is 1000 miles away under the care of someone else. It was a joke about how my daughter almost went into the street but saw a bus coming and made a comment that everyone found funny. My niece apologized for the comment. I didn't freak out over it because I kinda knew it wasn't serious (knowing my niece and my daughter) - but still.....

I have NO energy right now and feel very woozy. Hungover from yesterday, I think - between the migraine, all the meds I took and working a full day - I am paying for it today with exhaustion.

I have to leave for an assignment in about an hour....so I need to hop in the shower and head out. Luckily, it's only a 2-1/2 hour assignment and it's at the behavioral health center which is comfortable for me and, most times, simple work.

That's kinda mean, Healed. ??? If it was hourly, then I would not mind sitting here all day, but we calculate fixed fees based on how long it USUALLY takes to get done with a hearing. Ordinarily, I would already be done. The longer I sit here, the less I make per hour and I can't work on something else to earn money.

Forgot the word NOT!!! I for sure didn't mean to say I hope you are sitting there all day. That would be mean of me, and hope you don't think I would actually mean something like that.

Ah! I was wondering what I had done to make you mad. Lol.

Not to start a war or anything, but now I dont feel so bad. If I were to make a list describing healed, typos might be near the top of it (I think it goes along with having 2 little kids, idk but I think I would be rushed out of my mind) but meanness wouldn't even be in the ballpark. Or in the universe. Not for healed. Just sayin. Or really anybody on here.
