...I realized that having a friendship with my therapist will probably never happen after I am done with therapy...we had to go to a different room since they are renovating her office. So she walked her patients from her office to a conference room. Before the session small talk was easy, but after, it felt awkward talking to her. We had a great session (she also went way overtime since I was her last patient and she didn't charge me), but it felt weird trying to talk to her about the weather ya know what I mean?...I was worried about transference being an issue at some point (since I don't have many friends), but now I just see her as a great and cool therapist.
