So on that thinking. The problem resides already in your and other religious peoples minds.
For me I want to see every cervix, lump, flab.
I guess that's why I enjoy psychoanalyst so much. I have a very open and willing mind unburdened by religion.
First of all, I'm not religious anymore. I never really was growing up, I just did what my mom wanted me to do. I do believe in a God, but I don't practice any religion, I don't force my belief on others.

And "the problem resides in other religious peoples mind": I don't mind if other people want to get naked or see one another naked or appreciate nakedness, I just want no part of it. My mother is the same. She isn't hateful about it and she doesn't shame other people for it, she just thinks nudity is something very, very private.

I DO have an open and willing mind. We might not be as open with our bodies as you are and that may come from religion, but I'm fine with that. I respect that other people do not feel the same.

Should I force myself to think about my therapist naked to prove that I'm an open mind that is "unburdened by religion"?
Thanks for this!

First response to this thread was EWWWWW....

although I have to admit sometimes I don't get your threads Mouse but I get this one... nudity is a way of seeing someone as they really are in their humanity... I don't have the best of feelings regarding my mother but when I had to help her after her surgery.... seeing her naked when I was helping her out of the shower... made me realize she's not just this memory or this monster I have in my head...she's a real live person with a whole life's journey that has nothing to do with me...that totally came before me...

I think you've taken this far to literal. It's about imagination. Hell, I don't want to actually see her naked. This is about feelings. Wanting to explore the idea. Visualisation. I like to imagine seeing T getting out of the bath. I imagine she would look like a Lucien Freud model.
This isn't in the realm of what's private or socially acceptable. This is about the realms of desire.
Not being uptight. Cough cough.

someone told me he has a dog, and now I just imagine he and I walking his dog in the summer, me talking and him laughing which is probably weird, but I guess that's cos he seems to have a defence mechanism straight away when I arrive, but once I made him laugh and it was just lovely seeing him smile.

Once my T told me she had to reschedule an appointment because she was having a colonoscopy. That triggered me and I thought of her naked that one time. It wasn't a good feeling at all.

LoL.
I think this is something that's best born from desire rather than sudden suggestion.

I prefer not to think of my T as an imperfect human being.

Today my T had indigestion. I didn't like the reminder that she is human.
