MKAC, tooth aches suck. I wish you a speedy recovery. Next time ask for Phenergan to go with the pain killer. It will help with the nausea and also make you very sleepy(it does me).

Hello to everyone else. We put up the tree today and decorated the house. Crab stuffed avocado's for dinner. Jim Beam for dessert. Bah Humbug.

In 1997 I was in second grade. I had this teacher named Mrs Bugalen. I was horrible in math mainly because I couldn't see the board and no one knew I needed glasses. So one day we were taking a math test and halfway through I really really had to pee. So I raised my hand and said, "Mrs. B I need to go to the bathroom really bad." and she told me no, that I needed to finish the test first cause she knew how i was. So two minutes later I could no longer hold it and I pissed myself. It was all over the carpet etc. My Teacher made me keep seated until the janitor got there where she said, "Why didn't you tell me you had to go so bad?" I thought i was going to wring her neck. Instead I got up and sat on her lap.

I'm thinking I will have dentist A do this work and then have dentist B do the crown. That's an expensive repair anyway, so it's not like I'm shorting him.

What antibiotic did they give you? This guy gave me penicillin. I have some doxclyllin (SP?), that between you and me, I have already started taking as well. I have some horse antibiotics and I have even contemplated taking those. I am skipping the pain killers now and going with whiskey.

I don't have a set appointment time with the new guy. He said to call and they would get me in on Monday sometime.

MKAC-Yes, hope he gets you in ASAP to get that fixed. Ugh. I know the pain your in.

I had something wrong with one of my teeth a few months ago, and since I have no insurance I got an antibiotic from a family member that had some left over and took those. Killed the infection but the tooth still isn't fixed cause I can't afford it. But like yours, my mouth was swollen as well and I was throwing up. Hope you feel better

MKAC...take all the antibiotics with you to your appt at 8am and just let the dentist you know look at it... don't worry about the new guy... just explain when you call in that you already had an appt with your other dentist at 8am and he wouldn't do the other work till he figured out what was wrong with you...

I don't remember what he prescribed but make sure you tell dentist what you've been taking so he knows it might affect the xray results or something...and so he knows what to give you.

I would take the pain killers even if they made me sick... I'd rather be nausous than out of my mind in pain...

Well...I am home. J ended up running later than expected and got home at 6, rather than 5:30. Oh well, it wasn't "real" late.

On the way home, I decided that I did not feel like cooking, so I stopped at Walmart and got a chicken plate (chicken and 2 sides) for dinner. I ate most of it...I still have a little left that I can take for lunch tomorrow.

MKAC, tooth aches suck. I hope you are able to get it fixed when you go to the dentist tomorrow.

CC, I hope you are not iced in anymore. I would go crazy if I couldn't go out. Yes, I rarely leave my apartment as it is (except for work), but at least I know I can if I wanted to. If I was stuck in because I had to be due to mother nature, I would lose my mind.

Healed, I hope you enjoy book club. Hopefully, it will take your mind off of things.

To everyone else...I hope the day treated you well and that you are having a decent evening.

Just went to put honey on my toast and I must have left the lid slightly open, now I have to throw away a near full jar because I have ants all through it. And they're worried I'll become manic.

Hope everyone has great day/evening. Hope the snow and ice over there doesn't affect people too much. I'm off to try and cheer myself up.

Getting ready to talk to my DH about my father stuff (as soon as the kids go to bed anyway). My anxiety is soaring right now and I feel terrible that I feel this way. I just shouldn't feel like this over having to talk to my DH. Should I? If he just doesn't seem to understand, then I am going to bring him in for half the session tomorrow morning. Wish I could skip this whole conversation, but I know that I really can't. My DH is very supportive of my recovery, but he just doesn't understand what I'm going through. Of course, I've also kept him in the dark a bit too. Ugh
