Here we are using anonymous monikers and giving each other nicknames. It amuses me.

I don't know why but you mentioning the words "soft kitty" made me think of Sheldon Cooper and The Big Bang Theory and I haven't seen that show in years.

I meant soft kitty from there, it's the song Sheldon likes when he's sick

I love soft kitty. I sing it all the time. It's probably my most frequent ear worm.

I went to the gym and then out to breakfast with a friend this morning. When we left for breakfast, they were still forecasting an inch of snow today, with another overnight. Well, we got 3 inches before we finished breakfast and it took 3 hours to get back to my house. We waited a while, shoveled, had some tea, and then I took my friend home. By the time it turned to rain this evening, we'd gotten over 10 inches. It drives me nuts when weather forecasters get it wrong so badly and they just laugh it off. "Oops! Sorry, folks!"

Instead of getting homework done my older son is spending the majority of the time hitting refresh on the school closing website for the local news radio station to see if his school is closed. If he got his homework done then he'd have a free day to fool around tomorrow and if he didn't have off then he'd be already for tomorrow...

Yes, I know it's Sheldon's song I used to watch the show the first few seasons it was out because other people I knew were watching it and I wanted to be able to know what they were talking about.

I usually fall aleep before it comes on now as I am tired from wild kids at work all day.

Famous story...
A TV weatherman predicted snow but it didn't happen. Next show, the female newsreader says: "And now the weather with Bob Beeswax. So Bob, whatever happened to the eight inches you promised me last night?"

I am sure it is supposed to be taken that way, but my first reaction to reading this was "sexual" and not "just about snow". I guess I have a sick mind.

Haha. I can remember doing something similar when I was a teen...contiunally watching the scrolling bar on the TV of school closings due to hurricanes. We don't get snow where I live or grew up, but we certainly do get hurricanes.
