It's really nothing spectacular. My neighbor wanted a beaded wine stopper that incorporated baseball and flip flops with their team colors (red/white). So, I put this together.

I now have to do a beaded keychain with the same color combination with baseball and flip flop charms.

My daughter went to her school's snowball dance tonight. She looked beautiful. Sniff, sniff.

I ran a bunch of errands - and then finished up the wine stoppers that my neighbor ordered. I still need to do the keychain.

Tomorrow's plans are to do some cleaning and laundry - and to get stuff ready for our early Christmas get-together which is on Sunday. I have to buy a couple gift cards for my nieces and nephew....make a boatload of chocolate pretzels (and other chocolates - including a couple peanut butter cup wreaths)....a couple of desserts (pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting & maybe chocolate chip cannoli dip)....figure out what to give my grandmother and my mom.. Since I'll be seeing both of them again on Christmas day, I might just put it off so that I have more time. I do have a ceramic nativity scene that I might paint as a gift for my mom. I also have these mesh stockings with snowman toppers that I'll be using for chocolate pretzel gifts. I made up two of them filled with mini dog biscuits for their two dogs. LOL.

I intended to make homemade lip balms in various flavors as gifts this year, but I haven't gotten around to ordering the supplies....so I think that might be a no-go this year.

Morning couch.

MUE, the wine stopper looks nice.

Well I have to finish putting antlers on the last half of the candy cane reindeer I am giving to the kids next week. I also need to do laundry badly...I am down to my last 2 pairs of clean underwear.

Just woke up, so I need to finish "waking up".

I'll hop back on later.
Thanks for this!

I am HORRIBLE!

I went to do laundry and found the washroom washers completely empty (none being used). Normally, I will take 2 washers at a time and just do laundry all day putting in the next load after the load before it is done. I decided I didn't want to do that today, so took all 5 washers, so I could be done in aboutn 2 hours, instead of all day. Hehehe. I'm sure people will be pissed that there are no open washers, but in 30 minutes there will be (when I move my clothes to a dryer), so they can just wait.

Yes, my apartment complex only has 5 washers in each washroom (there are 2...one at the front of the complex and one at the back). I'm surprised they don't have more, seeming as no units here have washer/dryer hookups.
Thanks for this!

Well, washers are now empty...now all the dryers are full. 45 minutes till I have to go retrieve my clothes from the dryers (washroom is the size of a hallway, no chairs to sit and wait or no room to bring your own chair in). Then except for hanging clothes up...I will be DONE with laundry. I only do it once a month, as I have enough clothes to last me longer than that, but only enough underwear to last me a month, so that says when I have to wash.

It is so hot out. What ever happened to December being "cold" (well maybe not "cold" in Florida, but at least "cool"). It's abotu 80 degrees out though. I want winter weather.
Thanks for this!

Laundry is done. YAY! I am too lazy to fold towels and sheets though and too lazy to hang up my clothes, so they can just sit in the laundry baskets until I decide to attend to them.

The washers were all still completely empty when I went down to get my clothes out of the dryer. Guess it's not a "big" laundry day.
Thanks for this!

Laundry rooms can be hotbeds of passive-aggressive hand-written notes (as well as aggressive-aggressive ones!) It's one of the nice things about having a detached house, not having to book the laundry room and devote half a day to doing the laundry.

I am freaking out here. I have chronic back pain, since over 30 years, and T has encouraged me to contact a physiotherapist about it - he's even recommended a person he knows, who is a psychotherapist as well as a physiotherapist. He first mentioned this over a year ago but I have refused to even consider it, because I really do not want fit healthy people to look at my disgusting body and judge me. However, ten minutes ago I suddenly decided to book an appointment anyway, so I sent the physio an email. Only, it's Saturday so she won't get back to me until Monday at the earliest. And I have this urge to txt T and let him know that I did it. But I know he wouldn't be particularly appreciative of being bothered on a Saturday, not for a minor thing like this. I am just getting disproportionally anxious about this.

You have to "book" laundry rooms in Sweden. All the place I have ever lived, you just go down and use them whenever you want and just have to hope there are empty washers when you go down. If not, you go back later and check.

Woohoo...a little extra money. I just got a text from C's mom asking if I would be available to sit with him tonight until his dad can come pick him up for his time with him.

I'm sure it varies, but I've never heard of an apartment complex where you don't have to book the laundry room ahead of time. Sweden is the land of standing in orderly lines and doing things at the appointed time Anyway, if you have an apartment copmplex with mostly families, everybody is going to want to do laundry in the weekends because nobody will be at home in the middle of the day on weekdays. It sounds difficult to solve that without a booking system. (Then again, five washers is more than a normal apartment complex would have, I think. Not that I have lived in very many different places. The place where we used to live had two washers in the laundry room.)

Squirrel...it's about 30 degrees here. I'll trade you for the 80 degrees there. You have enough clothes to last you longer than month? Over 30 pairs of pants and shirts? And you wear them all? If that's the case, that's impressive. I own about 4 pairs of jeans and around 12 shirts.

Confound it, it's not a minor thing. I'm doing something that could improve my quelity of life considerably, and I'm going against the habit of a lifetime. It's not minor.

Or is it?
