(((Jersey))) I didn't have time to catch up on the couch, so sorry I didn't know about that. How awful.

RE: Hospitalization...It is really only good for containment, and maybe med adjustments. It takes weeks for meds to make a difference though, so mostly it's just containment. You don't get "therapy" in there, just 10 min check ins with a social worker, and pdoc. They have groups which are sometimes pertinent, sometimes not. I found the residential program I did (which was a partial type thing) much much more beneficial. (I slept there, but had a vehicle and could get away on my own during breaks) That was JUST women with PTSD, and the therapy and groups were more intense and the med change was better.

If you NEED to be under lock and key, then it's perfect though. You can't leave when you want, and there is no privacy, and you have to earn privileges. Sometimes they don't let you have shoelaces or belts sometimes they even take bras with underwires...it's not fun (I know that you know this) so if there is a way you can be safe on your own do it. But if it's urgent, you need to be there and right away.

And again due to my stupid mood swings I've missed the action on the couch. After 3 years why can't anyone get my meds right.

Agree with everything Wiki said.... I hope you make the best choice for you.

Jersey I'm sorry your friend is going through this but I am glad she has a friend like you.

Evening couch.

Got my "exam" schedule today. I am not in any of my normal classes. They are pulling me to read for kids in other classes, most who I have no clue who they are. I am locked in a small office to read to them, all the other assistants get a spare classroom. Glad I am not claustrophobic.

I got copies of the exams I have to read. Most are 100 questions or less. Two teachers though submitted exams that are over 200 questions long. That seems a little extreme for a 2 hour exam block. All of the kids I am reading to have testing accommodations and work slower than most students. I hope they are able to finish without rushing or guessing.

I hope I don't lose my voice reading all day for three days straight. That's more than I usually talk.

Well, time to go catch up on the couch.

I am a pig.

I was too lazy to cook, so I went and picked up a $5 large pepperoni pizza at a local restaurant that has basic pizzas already made and ready from 4-8. I ate 6 slices. Over half a pizza. I can take the last 2 slices for lunch tomorrow.

Off to shower. That way I won't smell reading to kids tomorrow.

True enough, but perhaps not the most supportive way to say it?

Squirrel-those pizzas are not that big. I can't do 6 in one sitting but can do 2-3 and then go back for another piece every 45 minutes until the pizza is gone.

I wish everyone had the same set up i do. I have no insurance but get a Free T through my school. I wish there was a way to have free T's but have them paid too. My T actually sees me completely free in winter and summer--both of which I don't go to school so no tuition, she could just as easily say no, see you when you get back to school

Thank you Critter. My therapy right now is all relationship based and she told me that I'm getting something out of the chit chat sessions. I just feel guilty about the money at times.

Hope you get a good nights sleep Healed.
Thanks Granite. I'm hoping that is what is going to happen.
Had good day with my daughters, we went shopping, though I am now exhausted from dealing with all the stimulation from being in the shopping centre.
Still angry with my T because he said he wasn't going to see me on my regular Monday as it was the 30th and he said lots of people weren't working or they were going away so he's cancelled that week. I feel kind of abandoned, as Christmas is so hard for most people and I feel he just didn't want to work. I feel like nothing. I so want to email him or text him but I know he either won't respond or will say we'll talk about next session. A bit of warning would ave been appreciated.
