Daeva....just a head's up, sometimes talking about SUI and attempts can trigger people who hang out here...so maybe put a trigger warning above such things if you think of it...Okay?

oopsie....I've really got to walk the dogs.

I have been known to enjoy just regular plain shortbread cookies. No icing or sprinkles.
Or flavors. Or add ins.
I also like mincemeat pie and panforte.

see, I've never grown the taste for mincemeat.

I used to love shortbread, it was my favorite! I make vegan pb cookies, and gingerbread cookies that are pretty good. My family likes the gb cookies frosted, but I like them plain. I am planning (and I may be overestimating my availability) on making a small gingerbread house so my little niece can decorate it and bring it home next week. It will be the first year she is actually old enough to decorate one. I used to make one every year with my d, but she's outgrown the process, and lets face it, no one can eat all that candy and hardened frosting!

Just got news from my oldest niece, my SIL is out of surgery, they were able to do robotic surgery, which will make recovery easier. *big sigh of relief*

Sorry guys--I'm usually more considerate, I just got really upset, I'll remember to put a trigger warning if it ever comes up again.

BUT I GOT GOOD NEWS!!!
My T has been trying to get me into a residential facility and I just got the call today, they want me to call them back but AAAH. this is good because there was 14 people competing for 3 beds. I'm assuming they either want an interview or something but YAY
Thanks for this!

Ok couch friends.. I see t Thursday, at this point I don't think he will admit me against my will, but he does want to know if I feel like a (hospital) would be beneficial.. How do I weigh those pros and cons? It's not local it would be able 3 hrs away and I would likely miss 1-2 weeks of work. It would assure my safety because I had a day picked our which is coming up soon? Get a jump start on meds? Bit what else is there to think about?

Healed....I'll be praying for you...

I've never been in your situation...so all I would have to contribute would be based or my fears and worries. But I wanted you to know I heard you.

Hi all..I have not fully read back everything yet but Healed..I also have no experience so I couldn't tell you what the pros and cons would be..It all comes down to you and T deciding if your safe enough to stay out. I Can offer lots of hugs.

Granite.. You are the best Santa I've ever met. In my bag for you is a life of peace and happiness because you deserve to live happy. Your worth it. You are worth it.

Okay... I'll go read back now...

PS- today I gave my T a thank you card with a pewter bird ornament inside..that says "Do what makes your heart sing" but I don't know if she opened it yet, because I door knobbed it. lol. I handed it to her as I was walking out. So we will see. I hope she likes it. It was like a thank you mixed in with a little inspiration for herself.

OkY..now to make hot coco and read back,

On CC and a Wiki getting a T Yahoo!

On Ready's YT Session- Glad it was a good session. Even though you gave what he said was a safe answer..you still gave one. And that's big.

On Masts Session-Your T isn't going to give up on you so easy. Great T

On cookies: Yes please, anything chocolate will do. Thanks.

That's as far as I got so far on reading back. My mind is in another place. I have a very sick friend. And went to go see her today.

Was there more about seeing the sick friend that would be useful to write about here?

Thanks for asking SD. She nearly died the week before thanksgiving. She has a kidney disease and only weighed about 60lbs. She ended up getting a urinary track infection that resulted in her becoming septic and so it was poising her body. Her mother found her hanging off her bed gasping for air and called an ambulance. She "coded" in the ambulance but they brought her back and saved her. She spent a week in intensive care before she came into consciousness. But they also found pain killers in her system. So once she's medically stable, they are sending her to a psychiatric hospital.
