apparently my sister didn't even bother to get me a gift (even though I got her one) so she'll probably just go out tomorrow and get me some crap at the mall or something like that.

kids were great... I miss them so much each and every day, the boy called crying after we left by 20 minutes, begging us to return... its hard having grands so far away. But overall it was good. Thanks for asking. PS that was a Christmas hug and that is allowed by section 4.3 of the Couch by-laws... if you have an issue I shall retain another couch attorney.

Where are the bylaws published? Who ratified them?

the ratification is unspoken and they are common knowledge.... more of a "fluid" conglomeration of rules. IE. Stopdog and Pbutton get the library ...... it's for the better good of the whole, no need to fret in detail, just accept and move on.

Its about the giving , right? You did what you felt you wanted to do...maybe the mall will have something you love?

Well, just like Mastodon has already mentioned, it's now officially Christmas in Sweden and I, too, would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope you'll have a good time no matter what your plans for the day are and no matter if you celebrate Christmas or not. I wish you all a peaceful day.

What Lola means is that they are established common law precedent and do not depend on legislation.

Morning couch.

Woke up and puked in the middle of the night last night. I assume I didn't eat enough when I took my AP. I am supposed to take it with a meal, but I just wasn't hungry, so I had a bowl of soup and some crackers. Maybe that wasn't enough and it couldn't absorb like it was supposed to.

Or it could be a reaction to the antibiotic I am on...but I doubt it as I have been on Keflex before with no problems and I had already taken doses earlier that day with no problems, so I think it was just not eating enough supper with the AP. I'm not going to worry unless it happens again.

Well...found a dr (pcp) on my insurance site that had good ratings on several medical rating site (yes, I know those are usually not reliable, but it's worth a try). Made a follow-up visit for the UTI. The said they could get me in Friday, but I said the urgent care said to get follow-up after I finished my antibiotic. So, I go on the 3rd.

Got brave this morning and searched for an ob-gyn. Saw the one my mom, aunt, and grandmother have been seeing since before I was born was covered by my insurance. I wouldn't go to him though as he is only a gyn, not an ob-gyn (not that I am ever going to become pregnant (I don't want kids), but just in case). There were several others that he is partners with, so I thought I would try one of them.

I called this morning. They asked if I had a preference who I wanted to see. I said no, I just wanted it to be a male as I am not comfortable with female doctors. She said they had a cancellation and had an opening on the 30th, otherwise they wouldn't have anything available until late January. I decided to take it. I will still be on meds for the UTI, so if they test my pee, it may still be weird, but I'll just have to expliain that. Maybe my UTI will be almost cleared up by then and my visit there can be the follow-up that the urgent care wants me to get. I'll have to ask. I probably should have a pcp still for when I get normal sicknesses though, so I may keep that appointment too, just to get established.

Now, I am nervous about meeting 2 new docotors within the same week (next week).

Trigger warning....mention sa no details

I know so many are missing their Ts and so I am grateful I got to see YT last night. He's off next week. I'll see him again on the 6th...

It was a very intense session...half way thrugh I mention the time and was sort of worried about it so he turned clock around so I wouldnt see it....

At the end of session...i said how hard this was and he said it is hard but i was doing good work. I did tell him that I'm praying for there to be major red tape issues with his move out of the country so I can see him longer..

I was shocked when I turned my phone back on as I walked to the car and realized he let the session go 35 minutes over....

Bad sales clerk!

So I realized that I never bought my brother's dip for the rest of his Christmas present (he has been in Alaska this past year and up there is is sold in plastic and he swears it tastes different than the cardboard tins down here...I have no clue, I don't use the stuff). I went to Walmart first, the line at the tobacco register had about 30 people in it, so I said screw it and decided I would just pay a little more at a gas station.

I go to a gas station, ask for what my brother likes (if felt so weird buying something that I have no clue what the hell it is). I was not IDed. He could get in a lot of trouble for that...his work could actually face heafty fines, if I wanted to report it. I am old enough to buy it though, so I could care less. I just can't believe he never asked for it.

ETA: Where I live there are signs in stores that say "We Card Under 40"...I am only 30 and look nowhere near 40, so I am kind of laughing about his carelessness.

I don't think so because I took two doses earlier yesterday (I was on my third dose when I threw up) and I have had 2 doses today and am fine.

I would am just assuming soup and crackers was not enough calories to help absorb my AP. I will try eating more (the usual amount I eat) tonight and see if it happens again.

Maybe, but I would just say he didn't give a s h i t. I definitely look older than 18, so even though they are supposed to card until 40 maybe he just didn't give a crap what the law is.

Being sick usually doesn't make me look "rough" but maybe time is catching up with me. I have never been one to wear make-up, so maybe that makes me look older. Afterall the kids at school always guess I am 50-something when they ask me my age, but I just assumed they are kids and have no "age-concept". My co-workers all think I am in my 20's (they are adults). So, I don't know.

Well, just talked to my mom about what the ARNP said yesterday...

She "freaked out" too and said I should go to the ER. WTF?!?

Even if I am at the onset of diabetes (I doubt I am), I think it is okay to wait until my "follow-up" appointment with the PCP to look into it further. My blood work should also be back to the walk-in clinic by then, so they can send it over the PCP I am seeing next week.

Why does my mom have to over-react about crap?
