Omg my parents had a velvet set almost exactly like that! Love the groovy wallpaper! I actually had a pink and purple paper dress. That trend didnt last, nor did it make it into the future!

My mom said one of her teachers in middle school used to wear paper dresses and two boys in the class would tear it as they went by to sharpen their pencils and the teacher never noticed.

I think I am getting sick. I have nausea and my throat hurts and I am going back and forth between being cold and being hot...I keep taking my jacket on and off. I felt my forehead with my wrist and it doesn't feel hot, so I don't think I have a fever. Hopefully, I will better tonight (or at the latest tomorrow morning) or I may be calling the PCP I just started to see to see if they can get me in soon. Having to pay to see the dr again would suck and if I am sick having to take antibiotic again also would.

I rarely get sick and now I have been sick twice in less than a month.

Wish I had some tylenol in my purse to soothe the sore throat pain. Guess I am just going to have to suffer until I can go home and take some. Though I may need to buy a new bottle...the bottle I have is about 3-4 years old as I rarely use it. I don't know how long it stays good.

Argh! The last thing I need to be is sick. I would have to take more time off of work to go see the PCP.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will go away.

Now I am starting to get a headache. Maybe I should call J and tell her I feel sick, so she can get someone else to come over so I can go home and rest.

I would hate to be contagious and get K sick.

I will give it after lunch and how I feel then I may decide to call J. I hate to bail on her, but I may have to.

Hey squirrely i recommend some ginger lemon tea. Most drugstores carry some. And MY mother would blame it on too much going out to eat! Maybe its cooties left over from the chinese food? Some pepto might help, if its okay to take antacids with your other meds. I always have some in the house, along with a giant bottle of ibuprophen and immodium. Then i carry little bottles of them in my purse ie my backpack. I never leave home without immodium! (Generic is fine for me).

Squirrel it is better to bail if you may be contagious... I hope you get to feeling better. I too carry Imodium, pepto and ibuprofen. One never knows when something like that will hit.

I think my mother in law has a green phone just like that on the wall in her kitchen. lol

Just called J. She said there is no one else available today and the earliest she can get home is 4. So, I guess I am stuck here until at least then.

Guess I'll be calling the PCP in the morning. Hopefully they can get me in tomorrow. I will feel weird going back in in less than 2 weeks, but I wasn't sick last time...I was just there to make sure the UTI was gone and to get established as a patient.

The dr said as I was leaving last time that once someone is established they can usually get them in the same day and at the latest the next day. Hopefully I can get in tomorrow.

Squirrel,there is nothing around their house that you can take? Tylenol, Motrin? Something?

I try to carry my own in all the time, but if I'm at work and feel ill and don't have my own then I just go into my bosses bathroom reach into the medicine cabinet and take something they have.

I didn't think to look in their cabinets. So maybe I will go do that.

Just gave K a PBJ for lunch. I didn't feel up to cooking, so I just stuck with something easy. I probably should eat, but I really don't feel like it. I'm afraid if I do I will puke. Hopefully, I will be able to stomach food tonight so I can take my AP. Otherwise, I may just have to risk hallucinating and being paranoid.

Staying home from school tomorrow. Also need to call T and cancel as I was supposed to see her tomorrow. I doubt I will feel up to that. Already emailed the school secretary saying I was sick and staying home tomorrow. That way I don't have to get up early to call her to tell her and can sleep in.
