It was awful having a T of my age (well, 2 yrs younger) at first but now I like it. It's helped me work through issues I have opening up to peers. I am starting to see a difference in social/dating situations when I am with people of similar age. I used to struggle with this.

My T is in her late 60's. I'm 45. I like this age difference, it works really well for me.

Interesting how many people on here have Therapists that are a good number of years older than them, for me I need my Therapist to be within a handful of years of me.

My therapist might be around 50, I never really asked. 50 or late 40s. But he takes care of himself well so its kind of hard to tell. I have been seeing him for 7 years and never asked his age. I guess it never really mattered to me. Interesting question though!

Mine is in her late 20s or early 30s, and I'm 18. It's actually perfect for me because she's not old enough to be my mother but still old enough to know what she's talking about.

My T is 10 years older than me - so, she's 48. I estimate my pdoc is probably about the same.

I'm 40, my personal T is 46. Not sure how old my ED T is, but I'm certain she is a few years younger than me.

I think my T is about the same age as me, give or take a year. I'm 30. I think the fact that we're the same age contributes to my strong transference.
