3 Years is pretty long in the Therapy world, although I did see one for 4 Years.

Thank goodness for the couch. There is really no where else I can talk about this.

I'm currently on 15 Yurts a year, working from home half the time under lax supervision.

I've just been put on the shortlist for a job at 24 Yurts. But that would mean working in the city centre (an hour's drive each way) 9 to 5, five days a week.

I don't need that much money but I do need some time at home during the week. (Apart from anything else, I need time for therapy.) I'm hoping for, say, 19 Yurts for a four day week. But I don't think that will be possible. On the other hand, you never know until you ask.

Big ego boost to think that I'm even in the running for so much money!

Decisions, decisions...

I like to think so, but not everyone agrees.

CE - I have foregone money for flexibility and the ability to wear comfortable clothing most of the time.

I want to txt T and tell him that. Would I feel even worse if I did it? And what makes me so interesting anyway that I have the right to invade the couch with my non-issues? I'm sorry.

3 years isn't all that long, it passes quickly, and a lot of people have been in T for much longer. How long doesn't matter anyway.

doesn't sound like a non-issue to me. Sorry you're feeling crappy.

I am home today...yay. Just me and my dogs. Going to slack all day, not even going to get dressed. I picked up some very cool beads yesterday, and I am going to try doing some jewelry with vintage brass buttons.

I thought everything was a couch issue by definition. Btw, do you know who your antipode is? T and i were thinking it was Hawaii, cuz we said he was on Swedish time and i am on Hawaiian time - another reason why we cant get married -, then i taught him the word antipodal.

My antipode is the Indian Ocean, west of Australia. I remember talking in grammar school about trying to dig a hole thru to China and my Social Studies teacher showing me that I'd end up in the ocean and I'd flood all of Southie. Well, from then on when I dug holes at the beach I would freak out if I saw water come thru. I thought I was going to kill all of my neighbors.

Well, my exact antipode is halfway between New Zealand and Antarctica, but usually we say that NZ is what's on the other side of the earth. CE is always 12 hours ahead of me. (I knew "antipodean", but not "antipodal". Good word. Thanks!)

((Mastodon))

The number one thing that makes you interesting is that we care about you.

But you are also interesting because you are a Swede who speaks English better than anyone on the couch.

You are interesting because you seem to have anxiety in a particularly pure form.

You are interesting because you blame yourself for everything and never anyone else.

Large organisations prefer to treat people as interchangeable parts. They regard difference as disloyalty, and don't like exceptions or precedents.

Very little of the world's land - especially it's inhabited land - is directly opposite land. A tunnel from Argentina comes up in China, and from Indonesia comes up in Venezuela etc. Spain and New Zealand are opposite each other. For the rest, it's Arctic vs Antarctic.

Hey RTS...I've just been lurking lately. Also haven't had a lot of time between babysitting godchildren, schoolwork, and trying to build up my business.

I now have a very unusual situation with T. She told me upon termination, if I write an informed consent statement stating I give up my right to see her as a T, I can work with her on the nonprofit agency she's trying to build. I can be a silent partner now.

This doesn't bother me as I am my own person and if things go south with her after I've terminated, it just means we're both human and make mistakes. T said I am a rare breed; that I can disagree with someone fundamentally and not judge them. She's pretty good at that herself, but she thought she couldn't do it better than me.

I hope T will help you once you get there. She seems to be much more responsive (and you've made good progress) lately. Good luck!

Hi everyone. I've had a rough few days but I'm okay(ish)....had two job interviews but sadly didn't make it through to the final round for either. Being made redundant soon so need to find something else soon. But I'm ok. Lots of stuff going on with my kids / school changes which is always unsettling. But we will get through this. Sending positive vibes to all reading this. Xx
