Thats ok. I haven't been listening to much music lately and think this is contributing to my depression as well as several other things. I need to be more productive but can't find the energy. I'm feeling a bit lost in genral and was annoyed when I told my T and he said he wouldn't manufacture another appointment this week. I sort of felt guilty for asking for more frequent sessions.

Still obsessed with this segregation thing. I have read a metric **** ton about it. But at least I'm not drinking much. I'm thinking of finding a new PDOC. Haven't been since April.

We are buried in white stuff. Cold, wet, heavy white stuff. Most of the Cape is without power, but we are fortunate enough to have it. They didn't get as much snow in CT, so D is still coming, we just have to dig out so she can park.
So glad to hear you have power. I've been thinking of you.

I have a doghair sofa.

When I first typed that, I wrote "dognair". Freudian much?

"Nair" as in the hair removal cream? I have a doghair sofa, too! And a matching chair, and bedcovers.

Maybe I should get Freudian slipcovers?

I hate staying in hotel rooms alone. I know I won't sleep at all tonight.... every noise... every creak.... will have me on edge.

Hi everyone! Room for a newb on the couch?
I had a coffee late in the afternoon so I'm up much later than normal. Kids are all asleep, and the husbeast is out with his buddies so I'm browsing around ye olde internet. Trying to cool it on my Facebook addiction but it's not easy. Also trying to refrain from googling my T. I'm too nosey for my own good. Lol

One of the things we shared was a love of all things punny. I miss him, and his quirky sense of humor.

I love puns too. H and I were laughing last night about a fake horse race H was calling:

They're making the clubhouse turn, Johnny. Lettuce in the lead by a head. Elmer stuck in second.

Now I'm wondering if a metric s**t ton is heavier than an imperial s**t ton.

Okay, I'm going to whine a little. You've been warned.

I couldn't sleep last night, even with my meds. I feel irritable, tired, and in pain (my neck is bugging me again). My GP wants me to take a low dose of the muscle relaxer during the day instead of taking Vicodin. The MR makes me feel lethargic. If I go to sleep now, I'll sleep all day and not get anything done. I'm not good at sleeping just a couple of hours either. I planned to set aside 2-3 hours each day (first thing) for schoolwork. I don't know if my brain can handle schoolwork unless I go to the local coffee shop and get a coffee with a triple shot of expresso.

I did manage to watch 2 documentaries about life in North Korea. Sad. I did it as a practice in empathy without personally taking on the pain of the individuals featured. It was hard not to. This is something T told me I really need to work on or I'll be burned out after a week of being a T.
