CE, are you still having the fear of going to jail?

Granite, please check in when you can. Worried about you.

Mast, can you close the blinds? Sometimes we all need to just put our heads down on the desk and cry. I know I've done it many times.

I'm feeling a bit more rational! I'll make an appointment to see a lawyer.

Through the window? Nothing - just me working. I don't have blinds, though I did pull my curtain shut for a while.

I'm trying to understand your feelings of self-consciousness.

W's baryatric surgery has been a great success. She's still losing two kilograms a week.

Ah, ok, sorry. It's hard to explain, I guess... it's to do with taking up too much space, and not wanting to be visible. And also to do with some of the specific people who would be there.

I wonder if I should mention this to T tomorrow. The problem is that it has its roots in Tuesday's session and how I was feeling afterwards, and I don't really want to explain that to T.

Sorry, I'll shut up now

I'm sensing you don't want to talk about it in detail.

Gossip is only temporary, I think. People will soon move on to the next stupidity.

It's not easy to see. We think she is losing weight from the back and sides, not the front.

Weight loss should continue at this rate for another two or three months.

When i lose weight, it seems like my belly does not decrease in a synchronous manner with the rest of my shape shifting. Eventually it does sync up, but there come points where you think it looks even more disproportionately large, and youre like, wtf??!! Im so glad shes doing well.
Thanks for this!

hey peeps been a long day sorry I didn't check in further. I don't want to go into detail but my medical issue has gotten to a manageable situation that I can live with until I get home and am able to go to the clinic .I just freaked out this morning big time . I was scared. my hubby is going to come and get me if the situation is the same tomorrow . it really is no big deal and I think can wait until I get home.

i'm glad you checked in granite, but PLEASE don't minimize any pain, especially if it has to do with your heart (you were having heart troubles, yes?), or your blood sugar stuff.

I took my first antibiotic this afternoon - im starting to feel less like those red butt monkeys under my nose. This last month has been ridiculous. But the sun was shining yesterday and today, and today it actually felt like springtime - the temp was in the 40's F!

That was verbally agreed upon... but if you do a little research on this type of business you may find types of agreements that are standard in web design... it might include things like deadlines, changes, etc... but it might also include things like progress billing (pd in stages), terms of payments, etc etc...

I know doing this for your T was like an experiment but if you are going to do work for people that she refers to you...you might want to consider some more formal arrangement.
I know this. I'm working on my new business to operate as a business. As T's website is the first I've ever done, I didn't think any of this was necessary. She's actually my guinea pig. What I wrote was more about my issues regarding her habit of poor-mouthing, yet living beyond her means. I've done that myself and am still working on forgiving myself for it.

Good work, bpa

Thanks for checking in, granite.

chopin, I see and agree with the issue - I hope she will pay you as soon as possible. (I was going to ask if maybe she just didn't have cash, but then I remembered that perhaps she could have written a cheque?)

I had T this morning. Started a thread about it. I'm so grateful I've found this T. <-- broken record

hey ya'll...

Thursdays...I hate Thursdays for some reason. All I want to do is sleep. I need to go out and bring mom for blood work. Need to clean the house. Need to pick up food for the homeless shelter tonight... Need to, need to, need to....blah blah blah. I don't understand why I am so drained and have little to no energy these days.

My d is doing better. yay.
