Someone in their sixties? People have sex into their 90's!! I am 67....age is irrelevant.
Thanks for this!

Routine??? I never thought about love making as routine!!!

A major problem in nursing homes is people with dementia wanting to have sex with each other a lot. There's a phase in some types of demetia where the sufferer gets a very high sex drive. It's like teenage boys all over again. In some cases, they have to constantly keep an eye on certain pairs who have fallen in love with each other due to dementia and want to run off to their rooms to have sex.

So you can't have sex in a nursing home at all?

I think that would depend on the nursing home. But they don't want random residents hooking up for one-night stands. I don't know about husband and wife residents.

Well that would suck. I'd think you should live it up while you still can!

This is one of the reasons I'm indulging my predilections and collecting as many hedonistic experiences as possible in my youth - so when I'm ancient I can regale my fellow nursing home residents and staff with my memories in glorious technicolour, and thus ensure I get as much diazepam as I want to shut me up

&......oh....it's not diazepam they give it's a shot of haldol that quiets them down...when we were dealing with my grandmother who had Alzheimer's ...& don't get near the cane...she almost beat my poor sweet grandpa to death....no interest in her mind for sex.
