Couch 78: Put your feet up and stay a while

I've got the before therapy jitters.. Its been about three weeks since I have seen him and I have a hard time getting right back to where we were after long breaks. I will leave in about 20mins or so.

Its embarrassing how much of the dog's description also applies to me. now that you mention the part about the feet...

Just got back from my session with T.. That was rough. :/

Anybody every feel like you are just soooo bad and you wish everybody else would just agree with you? Sometimes, I just want to tell everybody all the bad things I have done, the things I have thought about and let them hate me like they should.

I hate that I am 30 and I still feel like I have no idea who I am /what I believe/who to love.. its a really sucky position to be in.

I guess it has less to do with age and more do with the fact that I have set myself up with a certain lifestyle, and I not sure it is the kind that I want... But I am in it.. Deep.. How do I get out? Or how do I test the other waters while I am still enmeshed in the other lifestyle?

Identity can be a tricky question. I don't know if there are any good answers.

I guess with me.. Finding who i am what to believe who to love.. Means changing my life completely! am I brave enough? Strong enough? Stable enough for that? I have no stinking idea!!!

I had to go back to work earlier or would have flung more cool whip. Although, may abandon said cool whip for SD's substances. Heh.

I should be packing for my trip but the couch is more fun!!

Well I woke up feeling like I partied all night..Too bad it the feeling is from allergy and asthma crap.. Boo!!

Happy Saturday.. Grocery shopping, haircut of my son, H and I are going to a movie and dinner for us today.

Morning all. Our favorite relatives are in town and are saving me from being entirely in my head and self destructive. Unfortunately, my MIL's significant other is still in the picture and being a total ***. We told my D she gets to draw her own boundaries that she feels comfortable with in reference to whom she spends time with etc. As a result, she rarely sees my mother, and does not wish to see MIL's SO. MIL keeps trying to force her SO on us, but says I am on a power trip by refusing to force my D to be around him.

Anyway, the point right now is that he does not know these relatives (they are my late FIL's relatives), it's weird for them when SO is around (as I said they are late FIL in law's relatives), they don't like SO and think it's creepy that SO tries to for their small daughter to hug him, AND I know SO does not really like them, BUT he keeps insisting on being around and MIL is not making him leave. He walks into MIL's house while the relatives are staying there, without knocking, and basically is doing every thing he can to make it clear he stays there when they are not there. Not sure if that is a control thing, or he is just mean or what. They are here for only a short time, but he keeps arranging to be around because he knows my D does not wish to be around him.[and I know from things he has said that this part IS a control and power thing on his part. He thinks we will have to "give up" at some point.] So we either have to not come and see the relatives while he is there, or have to have D give in and be around him. My MIL says D doesn't even have to talk to SO, but if we arrive and D doesn't talk to SO, then MIL gets really upset. I hate this guy so sosososososossoosoooooo much.
