I had a really deep session with T today.. but now I feel really sick to my stomach. I don't think I can go to my next session because I have to talk about the forbidden thing and I just feel sick that I told her. She was really caring and gave me hug, which helped a lot, and this was our first hug (I've been seeing her for three years) I was at the brink of crying and my face is still hot but I don't think the tears will come out now. I just hate the sick feeling in my stomach, any ideas on how to stop it?

Deep breathing, meditation, relaxation techniques. I know that feeling well. If you haven't eaten, eating something might help.

Fiber, calcium, papaya pills, yogurt, clear carbonated drinks.

Relaxation, deep breathing, meditation.

I feel for you. I often have nausea after those type of sessions. Typically though, I find going to the next session helpful. It helped me to see that T was the same each time. What I told him did not affect how he treated me.

I have the same kind of issues. If you feel really sick, tell your T. When I tell my T, she will make sure a wastebasket is near me. I have vomited during talking about awful memories before, and as embarrassing as it is, they've probably had it happen before. Usually mints and water help me in a big way.

Thanks guys, these did help some. Fortunately, my kitty knows that something is up and hasn't left my side and is begging for attention, making me focus on him instead. I'll probably go to my session next week, but right now I can't think about talking about it. My stomach is still fluttering a little bit, but it's getting better.
