Someone sent me this today and not only is it true but I plan to put this everywhere I look.

Happy Friday

To think bad thoughts is really the easiest thing in the world. If you leave your mind to itself it will spiral down into ever increasing unhappiness. To think good thoughts, however, requires effort. This is one of the things that discipline - training - is about.

-- James Clavell, in his novel "Shogun"

I've found this true in my life.

Thank you for that reminder.

Thanks for posting that today. I'm having a huge struggle with just that this morning. I'm trying to make some huge changes in my life and going to a new city to look at apartments etc was the plan for this weekend. But the entire world here closed down with an ice storm yesterday and shot all my plans to hell. So I'm trying hard not to fall into the hole of 'of course nothing is ever going to work out for you'. It's really hard to not do that, it's how I've thought forever. And so far today, it's winning. Thanks for the reminder.

Positive thoughts have sooooo much more power than negative thoughts but are more difficult to cultivate....

Every negative & positive thought we have goes out into the universe.........it's unstoppable really, sounds weird but the power of the mind is incredible.
