Uhmm... How are you to "vacate" yourself with no water? Ugh.

Awww. Kittens make everything better.

Hmmm, do you suppose one of those fluffballs will need a new home in a couple months or so...?

I'll be vacating myself from the premises for the day. I usually do anyway, I just had to stay today because I had to meet with my advocate and it is easier to make phone calls from my room.

I just left T. It was good, but by the time we got to the last 10 minutes I was getting incredibly distracted and couldn't focus or form coherent sentences or thoughts. I don't even know why.

Oh good. We once had a broken toilet at my old job and we had to go across the lot to the grocery store every time. It sucked. Especially because I would drink 2ltr of water while at work.

Yes, English is a very blunt instrument when it comes to discussing this. But it is possible to do so - some people have sometimes claimed that it is impossible to discuss things that there is no lexical word for in your language. (Usually that claim has been made about "primitive" peoples.) But just because English has no term for "to rub snow in someone's face" it doesn't mean that nobody ever talks about it... (Swedish has 96 words for that. Different dialectal words, that is.)
And there are other options.

1. You can use foreign words. Christian theologians use the Greek words "bios" and "zoe" because there are no equivalent words in English. If you wanted to talk about rubbing snow in someone's face you could use a Swedish word.

2. You can create new words, eg "body-life" and "spirit-life", "snow-face-rub".

I miss you all so much. I was watching a show on netflix called AWAKE, and it reminded me of therapy and everyone here. I haven't seen a T in 2 years, but I still occasionally think about it. Today was one of those days where I "browsed" psych today looking. I have this awful fear that I need to get a handle on.

I am ashamed to say I didn't read back on the thread, so I don't know what's going on with everyone. I hope all are well.

Hankstah asked for landscape pics...so here are a couple from me.
Wiki loves the pictures. I was thinking of you too with all of the forecast for the storm. I hope you heal up soon.

Did you find anything good on the find a t sight?

I've got a sore throat. Every time I get a sore throat, I start to become terrified I'm coming down with strep again. I had it twice this last year (and I can't even remember having it before then!!). My throat was messed up last time and I went as soon as I suspected it was strep (that is, as soon as I registered a fever).

That sucks. I hope it isn't strep. I used to get it constantly. Had my tonsils out in 2008 and I've never had strep since. I have had two throat infections, but that's it.

Should I go shopping? Should I wait til this evening, when its cooler? We don't really need anything on the list. I say wait til this evening and fight everybody else who waited til it cooled down.

Yikes. I'd hate to have to get my tonsils out now!

So far no fever...
