It's the thought ….as the saying goes.

I've had some great bonding moments with T over small heartfelt gifts. It could be a great moment for you and your T ...AND it has the benefit of being distracting while she is gone.

Yeah.

Is it this hard for everyone or am I being ridiculous?

I don't miss my T in that sense (like emotionally missing her) And I don't worry something happens to her but I had something bad happened last week and was upset my t as out of town. She would know how to handle it and what to say. She has been a t for her whole life and is well into her 60s, so she knows her stuff. I miss her as a professional and I rely on her professional help.

But I can relate to worrying and missing people in general.

I do worry about people I love and miss them. But those are either family members or somebody I am in a serious relationship.
I can relate to intensity of feeling though.
