My secret elf tells me that 1985 was the year of the first Live Aid and rock stars getting together to sing "We are the world". You're welcome!

This is getting monokonous. Read the first post of any previous couch if you wanna know the rules. This is NOT like NFL football, where the refs repeat and follow the really simple rules like about the freakin coin toss at the beginning of the game, then all the other rules are optional.

On second thought, maybe it IS like NFL football...

Happy Super Sunday! Beware geeks bearing deflated footballs...
Thanks for this!

Except for football(soccer) i findthe use of the word"foot" funny as all the players do is carry a ball around and occasionally pass it to one another. I saw a league game where amazingly the ball got kicked maybe 10 times. Go figure. I find most sport bamboozling.

Yeah, and there's only one dude who actually kicks the ball on an American football team... Or maybe two, the rules are a bit involved...

At practically every Superbowl party I end up in the spare room with a bottle of wine, watching the Puppy Bowl.

I am all unsettled now, the ex came around asked where we were headed. I said i did not know and could he back off. I just get so anxious when he is near.

I'm sure mine'll be at the same nonsense when he's allowed to talk to me again.
What 'we', jerkface?! There is no 'we'!

Oh yeah... That could be a tough battle.

I've never been able to share a bed with one of the kids. I tried once when my toddler was 6 months old and had a cold on vacation. She would not let me put her down. I didn't sleep at all. The only time I slept was during the day on the recliner couch with her in my arms and my brother sitting beside us just in case she started to wiggle away.

T is back tomorrow! It's been a tough few weeks and I'm looking forward to seeing her again. Not sure how honest to be about how hard the break has been and what's been going on in my mind, but am sure glad she's back.

The stbx is to squarely to blame for my bed battles. Whenever I would set a firm boundary with my daughter he would manipulate the situation so it would be violated. He would get so prickly when his space was invaded but god help anybody else who valued theirs.

I think I figured out what was messing me up earlier. I'm just not sure I can do anything about it or want to at this point. Just bring it up at my next session and see if I can work through it. Though I'd rather not.
