LOL. I love Tom Brady. I have a Pats jersey

The deflated ball issue was blown WAY out of proportion. People love their drama no matter what the topic - and the NFL is all about some drama.

I have this overwhelming feeling to type liar liar pants on fire in some posts lately. I know, it's impossible for me to know the truth.. And wouldn't be helpful, but that is what I want to do!!

All work and no play makes cat a sad girl.

Oh so much work... at least I have something other than boring policies on the go right now. Another half an hour and I will be done with it though. Boo!

So, I have been spending the weekend researching EMDR.. and to me the only thing stopping me from saying yes to it, is the fact that the T sits really close to the client. Even if they are using the light machine thing and especially if the T is using his/her own fingers.

I shouldn't let something like that stop me from trying something that could help my ptsd symptoms get better, right??

I just cried my through a driving lesson. Dignity is overrated I suppose.

Driving instructor was snappier with me than usual and put me in more perilous driving conditions than I'm used to. Feeling like a failure. Almost everyone else in the US can drive, what's wrong with me?

I haven't been here in ages and I'm starting to feel like I've just barged my way back in without giving due consideration to the long term, regular posters in this section of the forum. Sorry.

(((Growlycat)))

Dignity *is* overrated. And almost everyone else in the US is in denial. Driving is a lot more dangerous than flying, and loads of people are afraid of flying, me included.

Crying does not make one lose their dignity... Remember being courageous is not about NO fear but facing the fear! Crying while facing our fear is still being courageous! Facing a fear like mine about driving over a bridge which I do everyday but not on the lane near an edge... I still go into a panic over it... It's not logical at all... But it took a whole month of doing it 20 times without breaking a sweat.... Now I'm working on the death grip on the steering wheel..

It's constant exposure... Not a switch that will somehow turn off and fear will be gone..it's pushing ourselves past the fear...

Your should be proud of yourself foe getting behind the wheel... Everyday a little more.

Oh, thanks. I believe it was something my pastor said in a recent sermon maybe? Can't quite remember. It may have just been something one of my friends posted on FB. Either way. It spoke to me.
