I would have hated to miss exchanging valentines in grade school! It was the one bright spot in a long dreary winter.

LOL. Oh yes. They won. They've been the reigning Texas State Band Marching Champions since 2006. Won again this past November. They always march to classical music, and that music is not very watered down. They march around 300. Lots of talented kids there. Good kids too. When people start knocking today's teenagers, I challenge them to spend some time with those band kids: responsible, polite, self-disciplined, talented.
Thanks for this!

My daughter was devastated when she came down stairs and I told her there is no school today. It's made even worse because daddy is gone, and the kids love their daddy, so I am going to have to step up my game and find something fun for them to do!!

I can't remember when I last felt this bad. I don't know what to do.
That is, I have to simply live through one minute at a time, like everybody else.
I am so disgusting. physically and mentally.

You might feel disgusting, but I'm pretty sure you're not.

I'm an hour behind this morning. I still need to shower, feed the kids, go to the store (need diapers and such), and then leave for T in 3.5 hours. It's going to be tight.

Or perhaps I'm mostly angry with myself for being a loser.
I could say you aren't gross, or unfixable...but you would just say "well, she doesn't know me". I kind of do. Are you not somewhat open on these boards?

I am sort of open here. Not as much as I could be. I'm more paranoid than I used to be about writing things on these boards.

Anyway, I'm not sure I could explain it... yes, it's the same bundle of feelings that were stirred up by my therapy session yesterday. Stupid feelings. I hates them forever, precious.

No. I'm all over the place. Had an emergency session with T this am which helped some. I'm just sitting here at my desk at work with tears falling down my face and trying to control my out of control breathing. It'd be better if I had a reason for all this emotion but it's wordless - just raw feelings that I can't control and it sucks.

In a few hours I'll be somewhat put together again - I always feel weird talking about my feelings.

Thanks for asking Mast, didn't mean to give you an earful...
