Friday, I think was the perfect storm of events that really set me off during and after my t session.

My sessions are scheduled for 4pm, I looked at the time when I was walking back with t to his office, it was 4:27. He runs late, it is a fact. It has been that way since day one. And in general I ok with it, I even still show up 5-10mins early just because I like that time to zone out, and unwind before sitting in his office. But for some reason, it annoyed me that he was so late. It was almost a half an hour after my scheduled appointment.

Then.. I walk in and sit down. I automatically notice something was off, T walks in a min later because he stopped to get a glass of water. Then, before sitting down he opens a file folder and reads some notes for another 30 seconds. He sits down, and then it hits me. His chair is way closer to my chair than usual. Talk about freak out... I immediately said, your chair seems closer than usual. He said, yes it is.. been this way for most of the week and you are the first to say something. How could anybody else not say something? Our feet could almost touch if they were both stretched out all the way!

Really those are just two things that happened that threw me off.. there is way more.

Morning couch! My h just got a long-distance job so he will be gone all day
and my son is at a friends house already, so I get the day to myself!

This calls for another !! I was going to go to a journey circle this afternoon to get some 'me time' but now I don't need to. I can drum for myself in the quiet of my own house. Yesssss!

t asked me the other day how my journey work was going, and I didn't have anything to report because I haven't really done any 'therapy work' at all for the past couple weeks. I told her I had pretty much just been living my life and loving it without analyzing it to pieces. The only thoughts I've really been having about therapy are that I'm so thankful to t and I think it's time to wind it on down.

(insert contented sigh here) I think as soon as hubby leaves I'll get my drum out.....
Thanks for this!

Blah. I'm tired. 8 hours to sleep last night... And baby got up to eat twice. So I ended up with 6 hours of sleep and I am still very tired. And of course she's awake again now so I can't sleep in.

I wish I could stay in bed all day.

I can't nap. I've had one nap in the last 3 years. And it was when I had a collection of infections with a cold... And it was a medication induced sleep.

Gahhhhhhhh! And my husband is still in bed.

Will your H at least give you an hour break from both kids today if you asked?

When my H would do that when my kids were little...we would all join him in bed...that ended his sleeping and I got to lay down.

No. He has to take my mom to the airport this afternoon. I will escape for 10 minutes to run to the Timmies. Other than that, I'll be with them all day. I've got several chores I need to get done before my mom leaves too.

Does your Mom live close and going on trip or does she live far and was visiting you?

Is it helpful when she visits or added stress?

Helpful. She gets up with toddler so I can sleep until baby gets up. She helps with the kids a lot. Gives me a chance to catch up on the house chores that I neglect.

You do not neglect....you prioritize... Not everything can get done in a day...it's good to have dust bunnies and finger prints everywhere... that is a house full of love.

I'm glad your Mom helps with the kids... And I hope she is emotionally supportive of you too.

This goes beyond dust bunnies and finger prints lol I don't care about that. I have no room in their drawers for clothes. I still have to pack away newborn clothes.... She's 4.5 months old lol. Plus toddler has had two growth spurts. So it is to the point where I can't fit anything in them. Her clothes sit on the chair in the master bedroom.

She would be if I let her be, but I keep to myself. Always have.

Trying to figure out non-toxic ways to clean my tub and sink. One cat never leaves the bathroom these days. I am putting a paste of baking soda and water down and letting that sit. Then I am going to wipe that off and then use vinegar to wipe everything down after that. It worked really well on the microwave and the oven. I cleaned those earlier today. I am so ready to ride and I know that once the weather gets nicer I will not be in the house much at all.
Thanks for this!

Yeah... I can see how the whole clothes issue could be about way more than clothes

Do you have storage like an attic or basement? Maybe 2 plastic boxes and just dump each child's too small clothes in each and don't decide or think about things and just put clothes that work for now in drawers.... Just a thought.

Hugs.

I've got diaper boxes to put them in. I need to get the baby clothes out of the house. We don't have that much storage. I need to sort them and make sure they're all clean and stain free. I will then see if anyone I know wants them. Otherwise I'll just donate them.

Then toddler's clothes need to be boxed up and saved for baby. They were born the same month so the clothes are all for the right seasons when they will fit.

I use the baking soda water combo sometimes.

That sounds frightening. I dislike bad dreams. Mine are all the same.

I worked on organizing all bills and paperwork from 2014 yesterday and did our tax returns and aid forms. It took most of the day yesterday.

I woke up with a headache...allergies are bad... I so want to go take a nap but then there is still so much house work and laundry and grocery shopping to do.

I love to use this cleanser called Barten:ders Friend ... But have no idea how "toxic" it is but I bets it's a lot less then C L R and works just as well. When combined with a mr. C lean magic e raser for bathrooms.
