Stop, I maaay have been a bit overly enthusiastic while trying to sell my H on the need for a blow torch. Now my entire family agrees I should never, ever own a blow torch.
Thanks for this!

Ugh I tossed and turned for the past 3 hours because h is snoring like a freight train. I wish I'd just gotten up and done something productive instead of trying to sleep and being snored awake every time I started to doze back off. I think I'm more tired this way. And I have to work mandatory overtime again all week. What happened to my good mood/positivity?! Blast!! I will get it back! Yes I will!

Hope everybody has a good day/night of course depending on where you are and what sleep schedule you are on!

It sucks when that happens. I value my sleep especially since I get so little of it these days.

Hope your week of OT goes fast.

Even after showing them metal work and creamy creme brulees?

I did not put it up to a vote. Blow torches are more important than domestic democracy.

Llamas.
I love alpaca yarn. So soft. Have some beautiful watermelon-colored bulky that I have no idea what to do with. It's not enough for a sweater, plus I live in the desert. It's just never cold enough for an alpaca sweater...

Possible trigger warning for parents who aren't getting enough sleep.

(/I was so sleepy last night that I went to bed at 8:00. Sometimes I get sleepy then but I try to stay awake in zombie mode. Not this time.)

I woke up naturally at 4 a.m. perfectly alert. This could be a keeper. Good thing I choose to have an almost nonexistent social life.

Last edited by ragsnfeathers; Mar 02, 2015 at 10:03 AM. Reason: trigger code. I am so bad technically!

Trigger didn't work due to technical problems. Sorry.

I was obsessed with llamas as a teenager. Then a friend took me this his parents llama farm.... I've been afraid of them up close ever since.

Llamas, are not, from my limited experience (some friends decided to try raising them), cuddly pleasant animals as a general rule. One of theirs was pleasant, the others barely tolerated humans as annoying creatures who sometimes brought snacks.

My horse is absolutely terrified of llamas. I think those little bastards know it too and just torment us when we try to ride past them. One of the parks where I ride a lot has one trail that goes past this one person's yard, and he got llamas knowing that horses are frightened of them because he hates that the riding trail goes along the edge of his back yard.
