spiders are stealthy and even bigger ones can scrunch up small. Perhaps the spider was/is hiding. Hang in there - spiders are more afraid of you - which is good because they are creepy.

Inny, sometimes we get waterbugs here in the city... one will be here one moment, then gone the next. I am so scared of them that sometimes I get vivid anxiety images involving waterbugs.

As far as thinking you hear people coming in at night... possibly just a bad manifestation of your anxiety. This is something that regularly happens to me. I lose tons of sleep over it.

I'm sorry you feel crappy. Anxiety sucks.

I had that happen for several weeks to me. Iheard people coming in the door while I was aslleep. I even heard their conversations. Luckily it went away. Maybe you should monitor the situation and if it doesnt go away...you should definately tell someone .

perhaps it was hiding..but it was so weird...i kept looking at where it was hiding until my bfs sister came in and she had a flashlight a shoe and a hanger...and she moved everything forward and sideways and back and used the hanger to get hit around underneath to scare him out and the flashlight to see him...obiviously it didnt work so now either im seeing things or he is hiding really well...and i dont know which one id rather have...hmm...anyway...yea i do have a big paranoia that someone is watching me...its like i know im going to see someone sitting in the chair in the dark....or someone standing there staring at me...i cant stand it...and i do hear some voices at times..so maybe this is just part of it..hmm thanks for your responses
love, Inny

inny i have arachnaphobia quite bad to the extent that if i see one in my bedroom i will sleep downstairs, i think it is quite common. i freeze and back out of the room, well you can imagine how many we get in a 300 year old cottage!! i had to go fetch a neighbour once to get rid of the one in my lounge. it was so huge it had boots on and you could see it breathing (shuddering)
i will never sleep if i know one is lurking you are not on your own.sometimes through lack of sleep i see them running up walls, big spiders, but i know they are hallucinations.

love you hon, kerry xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

wow i can entirely understand where you're coming from here inny. Lately the same sort of thing has been happening to me, even once or twice involving spiders. It is no fun, and somewhat frightening as well. I was going for a walk the other day and i swore that the tree ahead was falling and i even jumped back to get out of the way...but it wasn't falling.
what on earth causes these sorts of things?

HI Inny, I'm not sure if you saw a spider or if you had a need to feel you saw one? maybe to detract you from some other fear you were feeling at that time? I know spiders seem to come up a lot for people that are "Troubled" my brother use to have terrible nightmares and run screaming that he'd seen spiders and snakes. He was told they were methaphor for his inner demons. But then again you may have seen a spider.
