Granite? What's really going on here? No one is laughing at you. We are concerned though. Well, at least I am; can't speak for anyone else I guess.

It's hard to read the couch since some of the upholstery got ripped, some things are missing their contexts.

What's happening here is a lot of assumptions that some poster said some thing that offended or hurt some poster. Very vague and not at all specific to cause Granite or PuzzleBug to think anyone has a problem with either of them.

As I said in one of my deleted posts, I'm looking for any and all insights into therapy. All are important. The good, the bad, and the ugly; if you will.

I made a (stupid) suggestion that we have a "T is good" thread specific to positive experiences ONLY so that it could balance and maybe lighten some of the pain. Negativity breeds negativity and all that jazz. SD was kind enough to start that thread, thanks SD! That should be an entirely separate entity from the Couch.

It's hard for me to keep seeing my buddies blaming themselves and when I try to talk them out of it, I stick my foot in it big time. But, I keep coming back because I'm stubborn (stupid) and restating things in an effort to BE SUPPORTIVE so hopefully this will get read before it gets the axe.

I laughed at lickety's post because it reminded me of my out of control family. If I didn't have a sense of humor about my family and my background, the anxiety and shame would eat me alive. I am most certainly not laughing at you, granite.

It does remind me a lot of my dysfunctional family here, me included definitely.

Someone many, many posts back told me that we're like a family here and all I could think of was Ack!
