How do you know when to go to the hospital? I'm struggling a lot right now and having some bad panic attacks. I uncovered some really disturbing possible csa truth today, something that is kind of a "duh"situation, but it wasn't something I had previously considered. I ann having some bad suicidal ideation. I don't want to call my therapist because she has a family and it's the weekend, but I don't think feeling this way for an extended period is healthy. What do I do? Please help me

I would suggest either calling a crisis line, your therapist, or going into psyc emergency if you are not 100% sure that you can keep yourself safe.
Thanks for this!

I'm not a moderator nor am I a doctor but I'd rather you call your T or a crisis center rather than try and handle this on your own..you seem to need help so I think you should call your T regardless..they can advise what to do, because they know you..

If you are asking when, now sounds a good time
There's a list of crisis numbers in this thread Common Hotline Phone Numbers | Psych Central that you could try calling and they might be able to help or please go to your hospital
Or go ahead and call your T and see what she recommends but please do something and get some offline help

I would recommend talking to some-one to get things out in the open and being heard. Or write things down onto some paper so it relieves the burden on your brain to retain it.
After doing those things sometimes if we can find a distraction like doing something physical? You could always try reading or a movie anything really that takes the focus away from your own mind.

Please stay well.

Go to hospital if youre an immediate danger to yourself or others. If you can do it, try as hard as you can to stay out of hospital - its really not somewhere you want to be - can you get outpatient treatment? Helpline? Therapist? Crisis team?
Thanks for this!

Thanks all, I didn't do anything last night but sit with a friend and then go to bed. We didn't talk about anything triggering so I was able to distract myself throughout the tone sure was here, but then after, laying down, I got really nauseous and started to hyperventilate again. I walked around and then tried getting back into bed. It took a couple of attempts but I was able to close my eyes and stop the constant thoughts. I suppose I want wore at crisis mode since it was easy enough to get me calm, but I've never gotten like that before so I was scared. Thanks for your suggestions and support.

That still is self-care. And that's what counts

I don't think I'm going to tell get actually. I don't want her to worry or overreact.

worrying about our T's worrying can be hard
if you aren't feeling the same way by the time you talk to your T, you can mention that as well ... this is something that is really important to share though and to get help with
