Good luck. I can't imagine how hard that must be.

No, it's to be expected. You're letting go of a very important relationship, and you have something to prove to yourself. It's never going to be easy, no matter how ready you are.

I'm also aggravated with HER. We were supposed to have 50 minutes today and I really wanted that time, I wasn't DONE talking about why I want to end, and she said 25 minutes in "just being practical maybe we can stop now and talk again in a couple weeks?" Of course like a mindless idiot I agreed. [bangs head against wall]

I'm tempted to post a pic of my own couch with my son sprawled on it right now. He looks so comfy

oh! oh! I almost forgot to tell ya'all! I got some good news at work today. I was chosen as one of the "Olympians", not exactly sure what all that entails just yet but one thing I know they do is assist with helping new hires for the first week that they come out of training. Sorta like a mentoring type thing I think, helping coach advocates to improve their stats. It doesn't come with any money, of course, but it's something for the resume and will get me some time off the phones. Which is almost as good as money. Almost! This go-around, 50 people applied for it, and they chose 10 of us. Go me!

I had one of those packages delivered a couple of weeks ago, the kids were mad that mommy got a package that they couldn't look through!

That used to just frustrate the heck out of my son when he was little, when Mommy got a package and he didn't!

Though, the suggested list that amazon gives me based on my recent purchases homepage is a bit R rated after that purchase..

I'm expecting a package on Saturday, a reference book about all the different poetic forms. I am planning to do a lot of writing while I am on vacation the 18th to the 22nd. I'm going back to the midwest mainly to see old work friends, one of them is having a party for me at her house and so far 10 people are coming. I haven't seen most of them in MANY years, but we were a close group way back when, we were like a family, so I'm looking forward to it!! But I'm also going to take at least one full day for MYSELF at a park somewhere where I will write poetry to my heart's content.

I have to be careful about my amazon searches. heh heh. My son knows my log in because his wish list is through my account still, and he goes in there every now and then to put stuff on it. I make my 'mommy's helper' type purchases through other web sites

Lets have a sexuality chat while we are at it...

Do you think one can identify themselves by their a certain sexual preference.. even if they are not currently living that sexual preference out? Does that makes sense? Then- what if one identifies themselves one way, but are living a different way, will they ever be happy? Fulfilled? Ok- maybe these are rhetorical questions.

Art, this is pretty much what I wanted to post, but much more succinctly said (*fist-bumps Shakey*). Ain't no rule saying you have to process this at a certain speed!

Food for thought Healed.

It's true that you can never be happy if you are living a life that is not true to you. Thing is though, what exactly is it to be true to me? I was taught to conform and make the most of what I was given and be happy with it. I often wonder what is truly me, what I want, and what is me being happy because I'm making others around me happy. Far too often I catch myself going against my own beliefs and principles because I know it'll please someone else. Or the opposite extreme. I'll throw away everything - throw the baby out with the bath water, because I'm tired of doing what others want all the time and I refuse to do it anymore, even if I might actually want to...
