ME- Ok I'm here but I don't want to be here ( I secretly admit that I'd die if anything had stopped me getting there today)

T - Yes and you did come

ME - I know I bloody well come! Dont point out the sodding obvious all the time (Wants to run to T and hold her tight)

T - smiles

ME - I hate it when you do that, that smug smile ( so wants T to
grovel and say she is so so so sorry)

T - What does it feel like to you?

ME - LIke your taking the %#@&#!! (wants T to assure me that she would never do that,)

T - ok

ME - look I love you so much, so much it hurts! I want to live with you, I want to watch you walk around the house doing normal stuff, I want to be merged with you, carried round like a baby kangaroo

T - ok I'm sure we could arrange that

ME - you sure??? Its not asking to much??

T - No of course not, for you, anything, those other clients of mine don't matter to me half as much as you do!

ME - Ohhhh now I've got you where I want you, I'm not sure thats what I want after all

T - Oh but I love you now! Don't reject me!

ME - Well we;re have to talk about this, I feel a bit icky now.

THE END

Mouse!!!!! Thank you for making me laugh at work!!! But in all seriousness, I can completely relate to this "session." And it gives me an idea... I'm going to make one up too... I think we should all make up our ideal 'session' in a short dialogue. How else am I going to pass my lunch hour besides thinking about T?

You mean you don't routinely send your T a Mother's Day card? I did! I GAVE her cards for all events; one of the hardest though was Valentine's Day! I found a really good one one year though, the front said, "You always wish I would tell you how I feel. . ." You open it up and it says, "Fine. I feel just fine."

I had a great time picking out cards as it was so hard (didn't pick out birthday card for her as I had no idea when it was) and said so much about me and what I thought of our relationship, etc. When I'd get frustrated because I couldn't find anything "appropriate" I'd laugh and try to imagine, if I were designing a card what it would say? I'd finally "settle" for something in the card rack at the store as being much "easier."

I started with sending my T cards when she went away on vacation for a zillion weeks and there was this wonderful black and white card with a little girl on the front looking out of a window longingly, you can see she misses someone who's away and you open it and it just said, "You can come back anytime now!"

I was shy with this guy. The big first thing I gave him was a heaping spoonful in a bag of my Thanksgiving stuffing. That was one thing I knew that I could do well. That was a big step funny enough. He seemed bewildered but then shared that he made a meal around it though I think he changed it.

We exchanged Birthday and Christmas cards and then I gave him gifts near the end and visa versa near the end of our time. However, this was a special time for me and I know I spent more than an hour picking out the right card and writing the sentament to make it perfect before adding it to my card. It touched him I know as he called me. It was a Mother's Day card to my male Pdoc... telling him he gave me the things my mother was not able to do. I xeroxed it before I sent it but it was a beautiful card. It was a keeper I think and it has stayed important to my heart too as it spoke my heart. Trust... Thanks... Love....

I'm sorry, I'm dying here.... I was just in the card store over my lunch break with a coworker.... she was picking out a birthday card for her friend and I found this sentimental card that was entitled, "I'm sorry I am so hard to deal with..." ROFL.... and it was this whole gushy card apologizing for bad behavior or something, that you are really supposed to give your signifcant other... I was like, "Imagine if I gave this to T???" Abbott And Costello. Abbott And Costello.

Pinksoil.... I think your T wants you to misbehaive. No need to apologize. JMO... but that does speak to your psyche perhaps. I also think you wish to misbehaive (sp?) but are just beginning to let yourself out.

Oh, SecretGarden, how similar; I brought my T a Bisquick Biscuit Basket (and sometimes cookies I think) and she didn't cook so was amazed at my "skill." :-) But I remember bringing her the basket and explaining how easy it was to make and how you could put chili or stew/pot pie filling in it, etc. I still can't get over her amazement like I'd just invented the wheel. I can picture your T's face wondering what the heck to do with/say about the dressing :-)
