If the check is gone, then clearly one of the two people in the house during the weekend moved it, right? What am I missing here?
You had every right to ask them.

One of my cats is so afraid of the vacuum, he knows the word - if I tell hubby & son to pick up their shoes "cuz I'm going to vacuum now" he RUNS and hides under the bed. Before I've even gotten out the evil apparatus!
Thanks for this!

The vacuum and oreo cookies are the only things in the universe that exert any power over the raccoon.

Further to my post about expressing anger to my T. After last session I left a bit muddled I didnt know what to feel because we talked about the issue with my D. As the week went on I felt more and more anger towards my T. ithought he made me feel stupid and that I didnt measure up.
I couldnt remember the exact part of the session this occured but my T did because he said on reflection a small part of him had been judgmental of me as he had forgotten about my history and things i struggle with. We had an exercise in me expressing my anger in an appropriate manner and he then acknowledged his mistake and apologised. He asked me if the apology felt genuine I realised that this was probably the first time I had experienced a sincere apology. It felt kind of weird. I had to ask if I was justified in my anger and he said "Absolutely" I was so nervous about bringing this up as I didnt know what his reaction wouuld be I assumed a negative one. What a surprise. I am still tring to unravel everything.

Opening the lunch meat drawer in the fridge is the best way to get my cats to come out from where they're hiding when we can't find them.... they hear that drawer and are instantly in front of the fridge with huge, begging eyes! lol

Oh! Just found out that Toto and Yes are going to be performing at one of the local casinos in September, might have to look into tickets once they go on sale..... the beauty of being old, the bands I loved "back in the day" are affordable to see now!

Its not Yes without Rick Wakeman. John Anderson looks like he's finally lost the plot. Hope they play Don't Kill the whale. Dont get me wrong I am huge fan but.....

Raccoons are more like ninjas. Jump up, grab your arm and force your hand and the oreo to her mouth.....
Though once this Christmas I left the powdered sugar out while I ran to the store to get some stuff for a dessert I needed to make. ...aand came home and she'd had a sugar party...wWhite covered with little coon footprints everywhere with the dogs licking it and making it all sticky...and usually I just laugh at stuff like that and clean up ( after all I choose to live with her) . But on that day I was so tired and stressed and behind schedule i yelled at all of them and then collapsed on the couch....and she crawled up to my leg, tugged on my pants like she used to when she was a baby , and held out her arms for a hug. ....i think she is actually smart enough to manipulate my feelings on purpose but I didn't care....
Thanks for this!

I didn't look that far into it yet to see if there were even any originals left.... I got excited just seeing they were coming! Most of the shows I've gone to in the past few years of these "old" bands they've played everybody's old favorites, so hoping this won't be different. We saw Little River Band not long ago and they were awesome, even though they've gone through a ton of changes over the years. Did a lot of the old songs.

Awwwww!! How sweet, holding out her arms for a hug. I can't imagine having a racoon for a pet but they do look cute I have to admit!

I finally got a chance to talk to the Supervisor of the training department, and hear his appraisal of my presentation I did last week. I scored a 4.2 out of 5, which I am happy with!! I honestly expected nothing more than 3 - which means "effective". There were several categories, I only got a 3 in one of them, and got 4's and 5's in the others! Surprised me! He said that I was obviously prepared, and knowledgeable about my subject, made a good use of humor and of sharing personal experience, and did a good job of engaging the class by asking them questions about their own experiences related to the subject and to test their absorption of the subject I was teaching. My areas of opportunity are I should have used names (they had name cards duh!), should have walked around more, and read from the instructor guide less. All in all I am very pleased with his review, and he said they will definitely ask me to present again in the future. I did tell him that my goal is not to join the training department (because I have no desire to do so) but instead is growth both personally and professionally, which he said is always a good thing. 4.2 out of 5 is not bad at all for my first time!
Thanks for this!

Am I allowed to say, "oy, vey"?

Guess I'll be the first to stay firmly planted on the couch.

It's great to have a T who knows how to apologise properly.
