So, I've been in therapy with the same T for 3 years. I can't say I have any erotic transference. Things are always happening in my Therapy but I can't say anything has specifically changed.
My T is maybe 8-10 years older than me and I think pretty attractive but not strikingly so. All of a sudden I am all crushy fan girl-ish...she painted and rearranged her office and I walked in and thought "T is so cool! Look at the color she picked! She has such awesome taste!!" She sent me a play list when she went on vacation and I was all geek ed out like "T has such incredible taste in music" Now I am admiring her clothes ( not my style at all) and choice of art for the walls ( also not my style). All of a sudden my brain is just going on about how utterly amazing my T is. It's kind of silly and is sort of cracking me up . I'm definitely not attracted to her ----thinking about her in eve. The slightest romantic way makes me go "eeeew" . But I am like a twelve year old starry eyed about her favorite camp counselor..... I feel vaguely silly even though I honestly adore my T even when I am not all fan girl... |

If it is a good feeling, sounds like something to be enjoyed.

I feel that way toward PrevT more so than CurrentT. I have not felt erotically attracted to either of them, either. My feelings are totally as if PrevT is a movie star.
I haven't figured it out. I deal with it by accepting it as "that's just the way I feel." ![]() I guess it's a need of mine (I don't know what) being met. Sooo, I am right in line behind you, BB. |

It's kind of a good feeling but I also feel kind of silly. Even when I WAS a teenager I never got all gooey about celebrities. Part of me is laughing at myself and part of Mr is worried the sudden change MEANS something. Like says something about how my therapy is going or something.

I felt similarly about previous T (when I wasn't hating her guts or crushing on her or scared for my life of her. Gods, all the different feelings for that woman. It was nuts...) It totally had the feeling of tween girl adoring an adult who is so much cooler than your parents. I still feel like I want to be like her when I grow up
![]() I don't think it means anything bad. It's a normal healthy part of growing up. I never idolized celebrities growing up either. And I couldn't deal with the same sex attractions I was feeling. I pretended to myself that I hated any women/girls (and sometimes men too) that I was attracted to

It sounds like your therapist is good and does have a good taste! So appreciating is not bad at all. I would be more concerned if she was bad t but you still would be excited. But if she is good then why not!

Like I said I just feel silly. I'm 40. I own my own business. I feel stupid being all admiring. Though I admit to envying women who look effortlessly stylish. I have been wearing scrubs or barn clothes nearly 24/7 for the past 16 years. Even if I wanted to look stylish I wouldn't be able to find my few nice shirts in all the scrubs, under/over layers since I work.out in the heat/cold, and riding jeans. Lately T has been making fun of my riding/work boots which are near death but I have weird shaped feet and hate getting new boots after I've broken a pair in. ..

This is just legal though. Making sure we get it done before our license expires. The party/wedding for friends and family isn't until the fall |

Not really a secret. It's just my partner and I have been together for 17 years. We own a house, a vet practice, 2 horses, 4 dogs, 2 parrots and a cat together. We've faced poverty, major illnesses, deaths, 4 cross country moves together. The Supreme Court finally caught up but after all this time the wedding is a bit anti climactic
