that is lucky we dont have an adolescent hospital where i live so the only option is camhs and i have a friend whos friend waited 18 months for their help and they never did so she killed herself. Camhs is literally a huge joke where i live.

Prices here range from $75 - $150

Ex-T was covered through Medi-Cal.

Here's a poll I did a while back, got about 80 folks listing how much they paid weekly.

So much depends on what part of the country you are in.

My T's full rate is $125/session last time I checked. I only pay my copay which is $25. He seems to be on the low end for a psychologist.

I haven't the foggiest idea what my pdoc's full rate is. My guess is the initial appointment is $375ish which seems fairly standard around here for any kind of medical specialist. Check ups are probably $140ish (just guessing). Again, I only pay the $25 copay.

My insurance covers it fully, but I see a psychiatrist weekly for therapy and meds for $300/week.

$130 for T and $175 for marriage counselor (T is an MSW--master's in social work--and MC is a PhD in psychology). Insurance covers 60% after meeting deductible, thankfully.

My T's rate is $150. (she is a psychologist) I use my health insurance.
Having been looking at Ts lately, I see the typical range where I am is $90-$150 per session.

Wow under a hundred dollars for the full fee would be great i dont think anyone in aus would be that cheap actually if someone charged you that amount you would think it was a scam lol. I mainly ask because i see some people on here who go multiple times a week i can only afford once a fortnight if i went twice a week that would be $340 dollars or $680 US dollars per week!

If I see both in one week, between the two of them, $350 US. This is an expensive area. When I saw one on the road for temporary support, it was only $80.

My T is a social worker (LICSW) and her rate is $165. I have good insurance so I pay $25 a session for unlimited sessions. Same for pdoc who is $165 for 15 minute med checks and $265 for a 30 minute med check/ therapy.

Is your individual therapist licensed as in LCSW etc or only the degree as in MSW? Just curious.

£40 per hour. Seems like it's much cheaper in the UK; my last T was £30 per hour.

I know Australia is expensive for a lot of things, but USA is usually far cheaper than UK for all living expenses, so it's weird therapy is so much cheaper in the UK. I guess it's because nobody has health insurance here so they have to make it affordable or nobody would go.

I have health insurence. Cost me about €1000,- a year. The first €375,- of medical cost I have to pay myself, and then the insurence covers it.
If I cancel withing 24 hours I have to pay €60. Insurence doesn't cover that. I think a session is about €100,-

I pay $135 for a 90 minute session. This is a lower rate compared to T's normal rates. I get a little break since I have to pay 100% out of pocket.
