Hi,

I went through the SSDI process about 3 years ago, so I understand your anxiety. One thing that may help is to have your pdoc's office send Social Security a complete copy of your file. This will include notes from the nurse practitioner, with whom you may have better rapport.

My case went to hearing, and one thing I did that the judge really liked was write a summary (sort of a mini autobiography) of my life and history of mental health problems.

Don't get discouraged if you're turned down the first time. IIRC, 60-75% are denied during the initial claim and appeals process, but if you go to hearing, the odds turn in your favor.
