So I had gained like 30 lbs on my bipolar meds. I begged my PDoc to decrease them and he wouldn't so I decreased them myself. so far i haven't had any mania or depression. i have lost 18 lbs. I feel bad for not being honest with him. i just feel like he doesn't get it. it is a big deal for a person to feel unattractive because they have gotten fat. i am 50 years old. people were asking me if I am pregnant.

That sounds awful. All my Pdocs except one have listened to my concerns re meds and have tried to arrange something accordingly. Reasons were given if the thing I wanted couldn't happen..
Thanks for this!

That is awful. Perhaps you should consider switching to someone else?
Thanks for this!
