Maybe attending PE (Phsyical Education) today was a bit too much after my recent fight with pneunomia. I can barely breathe.

No, I wish . Thank you though. Between the new meds, new stressors, my general life, T stuff I just want to dig a hole and climb in.... blah. So I figure passing out on the couch would be a better option right now.

Hi, couch.

Kids are busy on individual work, so I am on my chromebook. Just wanted to pop in and say hi.
Thanks for this!

I didn't have one, but I could have used a soft place to land at that age. She's back today, hurt feelings aside, we will be okay. Thanks!

Man, I forgot how unenjoyable - for both parties - it is to give a pill to a cat. Especially if the pill is to make the cat want to eat, meaning you can't sneak the pill into her food, because she won't eat it without taking the pill first.

It's one of life's very painful little tortures. Argh.
Will she eat treats at all? Greenie's makes "pill pockets" for cats...soft treats with a hollow center so you can stick the pill in there and smush the treat around the pill.

CE, I have been wondering how your wife's health is doing. I know she had surgery a while back and was doing well, but then you stopped mentioning it. If I am being butt-in-sky, you can tell me it's none of my bee's wax.

JS, good luck with the interview!

I think I may have gotten prematurely excited. Didn't realize that potential job is twice as far away as current job and may be undoable with full time hours and having to commute in traffic...
So many online postings are duds that I just don't bother checking them out thoroughly anymore. Usually it's an waste of time...

One of my cats bit through the power cord for the modem. Now it's jury-rigged with electrical tape and a 6 quart storage box from Target.

Lol. The rabbit I had as a kid chewed through the cord of a refrigerator and somehow suffered no injuries (fridge was not so lucky). I had a guinea pig like, wow, 10 years ago now that liked to chew through my phone charger cords.

Kinda sleepwalking by, y'all.
I always wondered what in the world this thread is, Ellahmae; you gave it the neatest name.
I'm not sure this would be an appropriate response, but imagining all the "kids" chewing the cords... it's making me laugh. .

Pill pockets used to work - I still have some around - but she's ignoring all food that isn't wet (easier to digest, I guess), and she ignores that 90% of the time too.

I am so lucky that I have a cat that is more dog-like than cat-like in many ways, including shoving pills down his throat Actually, he just ate them up with his food, so I guess I didn't REALLY need to shove pills down his throat, though i probably could have if i needed to.

I have a second phone interview with my employer's competitor next week. Kinda scary--wondering if I could get fired for just interviewing?
