Boundary less mother says I haven't talked to her very much and is upset. So I just spent an hour randomly texting her things and she is so aggressively passive with her anger. I'm an adult. I don't have to jump whenever she suggests something and do it to just please her. It's frustrating, and I'm done trying. She says I don't try but I do. I keep reaching out amd keep getting slapped down. I don't deserve this, or maybe I do but I am done.

The org me and some of my coworkers do the trash pickup volunteer thingy for is having the sign placing ceremony this afternoon. Apparently its gonna be kinda a big deal, there will be speakers there and pics taken and stuff and we'll have one of those signs put up saying the name of our company. Kinda exciting, now that I'm no longer so afraid of being seen. I am so grateful to my t and the whole therapy process that got me to this point. It will be fun!

Hi everybody,
Hope all is well. Art...I always love reading your posts. They're so inspiring. Thank you!
Anyway, I decided to go back to school for a Bachelor Business Administration in Accounting. Going to go to a community college then transfer to a local university. Going to start in January assuming all works out.
I beat myself up quite often for not knowing what I wanted to do when I was younger but I'm going to stick with this as being the peon I've been in the restaurant industry isn't working and is not self-supporting. Mom and dad pay the mortgage, car stuff, and food. I just pay med bills, pdoc appointments, and other miscellaneous things.
Time for this chica to grow UP. I gotta get on with living and stop watching life pass me by.

Last performance of Damnation of Faust tonight -- in French, with a French Maestro and soloists. Pensive.

Aced it! (I should think so too, as I consider myself a composer!)

Hey, growly - pretty sure the ASU mascot is also called Sparky...so you'd just be changing Sparkys.

Eta: now I'm envisioning sports mascots as therapists...

And Phoenix does have great lightning storms. I loved them the year I lived there.

I missed two out of 26 of them -but I think they were the two I didn't recognize in the first place.

The dust storms are not bad. They're pretty much limited to monsoon season and they blow over fast. It's easy enough to stay out of them.

Oh, and we have the best lightning storms ever

I didn't know this, about the dust storms, thank you so much!!!! Good to know my asthma won't get worse.

AAA Westviews magazine had a great article earlier this year on artist colonies in AZ. Would love to visit those even though I would be living in or around Pheonix But I'm getting ahead of myself--need a job offer first

Why didn't y'all warn me? Painting involves isometric exercise and squats have never been my forte! My arms, back, and butt are going to be so pissed at me!!!!

Walls look pretty but that makes the ugly floor even uglier, and the ceiling and trim need attention too.

What was I thinking? Next time I should just hang a picture and get my color fix the easy way. . .

Happy Saturday Couch!

Hi, couch.

Fell alseep after CVS today. Just woke up about 30 minutes ago. Get to go back tomorrow night for a long shift.

Never did get cleaning room started. I should try to do that tonight and tomorrow before CVS. I am not off again until Wednesday night.

I took the tone deaf test. I only missed one. I was swaying back and forth on one, so that is probably it. Glad I am not tone deaf. Lol.

I was surrounded by testosterone at CVS today. The 2 male techs were scheduled today as well as the male pharm (manager). So I was the only girl. Which is odd because most of our techs are female. Oh well. It wasn't bad.

Well, the eight year old's birthday came off without a hitch. Phew.
She had a crafty party at Michael's. Best idea ever apparently

So we had a good time at the sign dedicating ceremony today! Afterwards, our sup took us out to dinner at Macaroni Grill, it was a lot of fun today I really enjoyed myself. One of the other sups came too (the one who hired me actually, I love her to pieces) and she was telling me about the 3 kittens she rescued and is ready to adopt out - she showed me pictures, and I absolutely fell in love with one of them. I'm going to go see the kitty in a few days after work. I think I'm already decided lol and I haven't even met the baby yet. So here she is, because, kittens! I will wait to come up with a name until I meet her.
