How many of those Styrofoam heads do you have? 😉. Good job, art! Looks great. I do have to ask, is there much need for wintery hats in AZ?

Lol! None at all, but I'm the same way with knitting socks and scarves

I don't knit because I need things. I knit because I knit

Yes, but you'd want a wider brim.

My eldest daughterwas supposed to go to a study group at the local library about an hour ago she informs via text that she is at her friends place on the other side of town. I have enough petrol to get to the library and back bu not enough to make the trip to the other side of town when I informed her of this she is not repsonding to texts or phone calls and I don't know what is happening. She obviously knows this wrong because usually she rings to ask if she can go over.

I can sleep through anything, except calls from nature. Grrr. Two hours before the alarm goes off and it takes an hour and a half to fall asleep again!

What? You don't think they're a fashion statement?

(They're good for bad hair days, too.)

Seriously though, I'm going to donate some of them - my brother and his wife (who is from Russia) support an orphanage there by sending care packages, so I'm planning to give them another batch when I go visit for Thanksgiving. I should get several more made before we leave.
Thanks for this!

I have 2. And thanks! I am keeping one for myself, because we do go to Northern AZ at least once a year and it gets a good bit colder, even snows, up there! But most I am going to donate.

I pictured you and your drum circle all wearing hats and drumming.

Some do. I would love to make one for that, and somehow weave feathers into it and it would have some beads too. May have to work on that.

Sometimes I hate what comes out when I write poetry. I am too blasted honest with myself in my writing and I end up feeling too much. I wrote a poem to/for t last night, and it was that kind - where it makes you have an insight about yourself that you really weren't expecting to have. If I show it to her at all, she'll see it too, and then we will have to talk about it. Artie wants to run away from therapy again moment number 2,429.8!!

The Couch 102, Buckle My Shoe!

Oh well, off to work with me. Sorry for editing so much.

Sometimes I'm tempted just to text my T emoji's because I can convey so much more that way than with words. Not sure what she'd think about it though. Maybe I'll bring that up in session today.

Art - you edited your comment - but I would like to point out that I try to set a good example on how not to do that. All for naught it seems, but I shall persevere.

Ack on the blinky pictures.

And now for something completely different:
I am trying to refrain from launching into an explanation of the hearsay rule.

Thanks! It's all over and wasn't even a fraction of how bad I was afraid it would be. I know that dental work is almost never as horrid as I imagine, yet I never really learn and get scared all over again whenever I need something done

Hope everyone is okay today, and if not that you can find something to at least make you smile.

The one dental thing I found less awful than predicted was a root canal. All the others I have been spot on in how awful it was going to be for me.

Listening to "The Great Gatsby" and I'm finding it painful... However, I feel like the only person on the planet that hasn't read it so I'm just trying to get through.

Do you not like it, or is it too emotional?

Might be better on the printed page. Fitzgerald is an amazing prose stylist.

I think that's what I'm missing, it is very... blah. I think I need to actually read it. I own it in book form, perhaps it is indeed best read and not listened to.
